Israeli Massacre Backed By Iran

Shortly after Hamas terrorists massacred more than a thousand Israelites, Biden administration officials said Iran was not directly involved in the attack.

A week after the attack, it was confirmed that the terrorists were backed by Iran.

According to the Washington Post, Intelligence officials believe the attack “bore hallmarks of Iranian support.”

Here is part of what was said in the Washington Post:

The Palestinian militants behind the surprise weekend attack on Israel began planning the assault at least a year ago, with key support from Iranian allies who provided military training and logistical help as well as tens of millions of dollars for weapons, current and former Western and Middle Eastern intelligence officials said Monday.

Even though Iran’s role in Saturday’s violence remained unclear, the officials said, the assault reflected Tehran’s years-long ambition to surround Israel with legions of paramilitary fighters armed with increasingly sophisticated weapons systems capable of striking deep inside the Jewish state.

“If you train people on how to use weapons, you expect them to eventually use them,” said a Western intelligence official who, like others interviewed, requested that his name and nationality be withheld to freely discuss the rapidly unfolding events in southern Israel. The official, and a second Western analyst with access to sensitive intelligence, said the analysis conducted in the wake of the attack pointed to many months of preparation by Hamas, beginning at least as early as mid-2022.

Even though they denied having knowledge of the attack, Iranian officials issued a threat of “far-reaching consequences” if Israel’s “war crimes and genocide” are not stopped.

The warning was posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Saturday.

According to Reuters, the post came after Tehran warned Israel in a message sent through the United Nations.

You can read the rest of what was written in Reuters here:

“If the Israeli apartheid’s war crimes & genocide are not halted immediately, the situation could spiral out of control & ricochet far-reaching consequences – the responsibility of which lies with the UN, the Security Council & the states steering the Council toward a dead end,” Iran’s U.N. mission posted.

Israel was preparing on Saturday to launch a ground assault against Iran-backed Hamas in the Gaza Strip, after telling Palestinians living in the densely populated territory to flee south towards a closed border with Egypt.

With the Western nations fully behind Israel, it would be a bad idea for Iran to follow through with the threat.

Interestingly, President Trump was right, again. After Biden gave Iran $6 billion earlier this year, the 45th President said it would lead to an attack on Israel. A few months later, Hamas attacked Israel.
