Investigative journalist and former congressional candidate Laura Loomer said she was “ILLEGALLY DETAINED” after confronting former FBI Director James Comey at his book signing for his new crime novel.
Comey’s book, “Central Park West: A Crime Novel,” was released May 30th.
“I was just ILLEGALLY DETAINED by Naperville police in Illinois after I confronted the former, criminal FBI Director James Comey at his book signing for his new crime novel!” Loomer tweeted.
“Comey left the stage after I confronted him about why a criminal is writing crime novels,” she added.

“It’s too bad I was escorted out and illegally detained by the police after asking Comey my question,” she continued.
“I really wanted to stay for the book signing and get my personalized books signed for my “friends husband” Michael @GenFlynn, as in Michael Flynn and my dear uncle Roger, as in @RogerJStoneJr. Maybe next time!”

Laura Loomer posted the footage of the confrontation with Comey Tuesday morning.
“Last night I confronted the Criminal former #FBI Director James @comey about the #DurhamReport findings at Comey’s book signing/book tour for his new crime novel,” Loomer wrote.
“I asked Comey why a criminal like himself is now writing crime novels and when he plans on writing a crime book about himself. I was detained by the Naperville police after I #LOOMERED Comey and he ran away from my questions.”

“A real life criminal named James Comey. It’s not a fiction. It’s not a novel. It’s a real crime story,” she added.
