What do you get for someone who seems to have it all? That was the conundrum for some of President Donald Trump’s loved ones ahead of his 80th birthday.
But for his granddaughter, Kai, the decision wasn’t hard.
The avid golfer decided the perfect gift would be some quality time on the links, as the New York Post reported:
“Honestly, we’re going to go play golf. That’s my gift,” she told The Post on Wednesday from the ESPYs red carpet at the Josie Robertson Plaza at Lincoln Center.
ADVERTISEMENTKai, 19, a competitive golfer, spent Trump’s birthday night last month alongside him for the Ultimate Fighting Championship match on the South Lawn of the White House to mark America’s 250th anniversary.
Kai Trump has quickly become a celebrity of sorts in her own right:

After sinking the putt, the 17-year-old delivered a perfect comeback to Kevin Hart:
“What’d you say? I can’t hear you from up here.”

Kai Trump's confidence and competitive spirit are truly inspiring.
Her words about learning that mindset from President Donald J. Trump say a lot about strong leadership and determination.

But while she shares a love of golf with her grandfather, she’s not ready to follow him into politics:

Her social media accounts have provided some behind-the-scenes access to the Trump administration, though.
As the Times of India recently reported:
Kai Trump has taken fans inside one of the most talked-about sporting events of the month. The First Granddaughter shared a new vlog showing her full day at UFC Freedom 250, which was held on the White House South Lawn on June 14. From walking through the White House to sitting just behind President Donald Trump during the fights, the teenager offered a rare look at moments the public did not see during the broadcast. The vlog was posted on Kai Trump’s YouTube channel and comes just months before she begins her college golf career at the University of Miami.
Kai began the vlog by taking viewers through parts of the White House that are usually not shown. She walked through hallways where she said she “played soccer growing up” before entering the Oval Office. She pointed out the gold-colored details that had been added to the room and also showed the famous button on President Donald Trump’s desk, saying it is used to request a Diet Coke.
And here’s that video:
