Boycott Spreads: Liquor Stores Rebel Against Bud Light After Trans Can Controversy

“Go woke, go broke” – we’ve all heard it before.

And it seems like another major brand might be headed down that path.

Picture this: you’re cracking open a cold one after a long day, enjoying the simple pleasure of your favorite beer. But then, suddenly, that very beer becomes the center of a heated controversy. What once brought satisfaction and camaraderie now leaves a bitter taste in your mouth.

Conservatives and Republicans alike have been rallying behind this idea of rejecting brands that pander to “wokeness,” and it seems like Bud Light is the latest target in the crosshairs.

Imagine the reaction when they discover that their once beloved beer is now featuring a transgender activist on their cans – needless to say, things might get a little frothy.

As the news spreads, major names in the entertainment industry are joining the boycott, and it feels like this could be just the beginning.

With emotions running high and loyalties being tested, one can’t help but wonder: will this be the tipping point that causes Bud Light to go flat in the eyes of conservative consumers?

The boycott is spreading.

Liquor stores all over the country are refusing to place more orders with Bud Light.

Here’s the thing: Bud Light is beer.

Why are they trying to push an agenda down our throats?

Fortunately, several country artists are beginning to speak out against what’s happening.

In fact, the Christian Post confirms:

Kid Rock and country music stars John Rich and Travis Tritt are among others participating in a boycott of Bud Light after the beer brand named a trans-identified activist Dylan Mulvaney a brand spokesperson to “authentically connect with audiences.”

The 26-year-old biologically male trans activist is known publicly for detailing a gender transition in daily videos on the social media platform TikTok. Along with millions of followers on TikTok, Mulvaney’s “Days of Girlhood” videos have received over 1 billion views.

Mulvaney announced on Saturday that the company sent packs of Bud Light featuring the influencer’s face to celebrate a year of “girlhood.”

The activist, who called the cans “most prized possessions” on Instagram with the hashtag #budlightpartner, can be seen featured in a video drinking a Bud Light.

Following the announcement, critics took to social media to express their disapproval of the campaign, claiming it is part of “gender propaganda.”

Country musician Rich tweeted: “What beer should my bar [Redneck Riviera] in Nashville replace #BudLight with?”

Tritt also tweeted that he plans to remove all products from his tour hospitality rider made by Anheuser-Busch — the originally American beer company that produces Bud Light which Belgium-based AB InBev now owns.

“I know many other artists are doing the same,” Tritt wrote. “In full disclosure, I was on a tour sponsored by Budweiser in the ’90s. That was when Anheuser-Busch was American owned. A great American company that later sold out to the Europeans and became unrecognizable to the American consumer. Such a shame.”

Wearing a white “MAGA” hat, popular singer Kid Rock used a few expletives when reacting to the new partnership in an Instagram video showing him using an assault rifle to fire at cases of Bud Light in a field by a body of water.

“Grandpa’s feeling a little frisky today,” the 52-year-old said in the clip. “Let me say something to all you and be as clear and concise as possible. F— Bud Light. F— Anheuser-Busch. Have a terrific day.”

Instead of just staying in their lane, these major corporations have to take a stand on hot topic issues.

They could unify us by focusing on their products.

But instead, they are trying to tilt the scales in the culture wars.

And it could lose them some customers.

Of course, the mainstream media is refusing to cover this boycott.

Why?

Because they don’t want to give it more air and energy than it already has?

The boycott is already strong in the state of Florida and is quickly spreading across the nation.

A local CBS affiliate in Florida confirms:

Friday is National Beer Day but there is one beer company sparking controversy on social media.

Anheuser-Busch is supporting the trans community through Bud Light’s recent ad campaign. Now, the hashtag “Boycott Bud Light” is trending on social media.

“I support trans, so I would not boycott Budweiser over that,” James Garner said.

“I mean right after the slaughter of Christian children by a trans shooter, it seems really insensitive,” Alex Distler said.

A man who didn’t want to share his name said, “I think people that are opposed to the idea are welcome to do it. I really don’t have an opinion one way or the other.”

Bud Light chose trans activist Dylan Mulvaney to be a brand spokesperson for a March Madness video campaign.

This sparked major backlash on social media. You can see videos of people destroying Bud Light cans, pouring their Bud Light out, and showing their overall distaste of the beer. Musician Kid Rock even posted a video showing him shooting at Bud Light cans.

This is a great point.

Why in the world would Bud Light choose to push this agenda in the aftermath of the Nashville school shooting, which was carried out by a transgender person against a bunch of Christians?

It’s tasteless and despicable.

Even Police Departments, such as the Chicago PD, appear to support the boycotts.

OutKick reports:

Internal affairs is investigating the official Twitter page of the Chicago Police Department for liking a tweet of country star Travis Tritt declaring a Bud Light boycott over its partnership with gender-hustler Dylan Mulvaney.

Screenshots show @Chicago_Police liked Tritt’s now-viral tweet on Wednesday about “deleting all Anheuser-Busch products from my tour hospitality ride.”

The department removed its “like” of the post by Friday morning, a tweet with over 20 million views.

So what do you think?

Will you be joining the boycott?
