Thanks to RFK Jr., millions of taxpayer dollars are no longer going to fund Planned Parenthood!
Late last month, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. cut off massive amounts of federal grants to Planned Parenthood, along with other organizations.
Here are the details:

NEW: HHS notified 53 organizations, including several Planned Parenthood affiliates, that they will no longer receive taxpayer funds after pushing “sexually explicit” content on kids.
Planned Parenthood California Central Coast; Planned Parenthood of The Heartland Inc.; the Wisconsin Department of Health; the Maryland Department of Health; the Baltimore City Health Department; the Oklahoma City County Health Department; and more received letters saying their grants were terminated.
Many of the grantees used curricula that encouraged sexual activity as they presented on teen pregnancy prevention at schools, according to documents obtained by @DailySignal.
In total, $67 million in teen pregnancy prevention grants were canceled because these groups were using them to promote sexually explicit content for kids in the name of so-called “education.”
A report from the Daily Signal reads:
The Department of Health and Human Services on Friday notified more than 50 organizations, including Planned Parenthood affiliates, that they will no longer receive teen pregnancy prevention grants after pushing “sexually explicit” content on kids.
The agency sent letters to several Planned Parenthood affiliates, state and local health departments, university systems, and nonprofits notifying them of the termination of Teen Pregnancy Prevention program grants. The grantees included Planned Parenthood California Central Coast; Planned Parenthood of The Heartland Inc.; the Wisconsin Department of Health; the Maryland Department of Health; the Baltimore City Health Department; the Oklahoma City-County Health Department; the Public Health Authority of Cabarrus County, North Carolina; and Hennepin County, Minnesota.
The Office of the Assistant Secretary of Health’s Office of Population Affairs provides grants to organizations that promote teen pregnancy prevention, as well as organizations that write teen pregnancy prevention curricula. But HHS determined that many of the organizations were using curricula that are “medically inaccurate,” “age-inappropriate,” and “sexually explicit,” violating the statute that established the program.
“After a review of all curricular content, OASH believes that some curricula normalize adolescent sexual activity and are not age appropriate, as they contain overly sexually explicit or pornographic content that is not necessary to achieve the TPP program’s statutory mission,” a letter notifying a grantee of the termination, obtained by the Daily Signal, reads.
ADVERTISEMENT“As a result, OASH is adjusting its discretionary Teen Pregnancy Prevention (TPP) Program award portfolio, which includes the decision not to renew some of its TPP Program awards in order to better prioritize agency resources towards the above-mentioned priorities,” the letter states.
HHS terminated a total of $67 million in Teen Pregnancy Prevention grants, including 53 of the 67 Biden-era grants.
Many of the grantees used curricula that encouraged sexual activity as they presented teen pregnancy prevention programs at schools.
Breitbart shared some specific details about the types of highly-inappropriate, sick things these programs were teaching to kids:
“For instance, the Maryland Department of Health used a curriculum including a role play scenario with two boys weighing whether or not to use condoms to avoid contracting HIV. The department did not respond to the Daily Signal’s request for comment by time of publication,” Mitchell reported.
Planned Parenthood California Central Coast used the Love Notes curriculum, which is aimed at teens ages 14-19, and includes “various forms of pornography,” as well as a “celebrity interview discussing exposure to abusive pornography beginning at age 11 and escalating to graphic, violent content by age 14,” according to the report.
Planned Parenthood California Central Coast reportedly did not reply to the outlet’s request for comment.
Besides terminating the grants, HHS announced two new grant opportunities that promote body literacy instead of “gender ideology,” abortion, and birth control. HHS said the grants will “focus on programs that do not promote material that depicts, describes, exposes, or presents obscene, indecent, or sexually explicit content, including content that normalizes or promotes sexual activity for minors.”

This is a great step in the right direction and a huge accomplishment for protecting kids!
However, it’s not all good news.
While the HHS has canceled a huge amount of grants to Planned Parenthood, the temporary one-year halt on federal Medicaid funding to the organization has ended.
This means that, since Republicans failed to pass an extension, Planned Parenthood is once again able to access hundreds of millions of dollars in federal funds.
Politico has more on that:
Planned Parenthood’s beleaguered network of clinics will regain access to hundreds of millions in Medicaid funding this weekend — the fallout of Republicans’ failure to pass an extension of the one-year defunding provision they approved last year.
Starting July 5, clinics around the country can once again bill the federal program for reimbursement after providing non-abortion services, like birth control and screenings for sexually-transmitted infections, to low-income patients. Though other funding threats loom, it’s a lifeline for the struggling organization, which has closed nearly 30 health centers nationwide that collectively served more than 40,000 patients since the defunding provision in the GOP’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act took effect in July 2025.
Conservative lawmakers and activists are furious with GOP leadership for prioritizing other issues in the summer’s budget battles — including immigration and military spending — over keeping taxpayer dollars out of Planned Parenthood’s hands. In recent weeks, they have sent a barrage of angry letters to Capitol Hill, pressured the White House to intervene, and picketed outside the RNC headquarters in Washington.
