Acting Director of National Intelligence Bill Pulte is proving to be extremely effective at draining the Swamp…
Right after he took over at the ODNI following Tulsi Gabbard’s departure, Pulte started gutting the agency.
On Friday, Pulte gave us an update on his Deep State purge and announced that a third wave of firings has just begun.
Read what he had to say in a post on X here:
U.S. National Intelligence is operating more efficiently and effectively than ever before, and today, we started a third round of reducing redundant, or non-critical, personnel. DNI’s future is exceptionally bright, and will be focused on following the law and the statute.

To date, over 45 intelligence officials linked to the Deep State have been fired under Bill Pulte.
If you missed it, here’s our previous report on that:
BREAKING: Acting DNI Bill Pulte FIRES Dozens of Deep State Officials
We don't have a lot of information about this third round of firings, yet.
But, by the time this is all finished, we could see hundreds of bad actors in the intelligence community gone!
Along with this massive purge, President Trump has also ordered Bill Pulte to "declassify everything" during his short time as Acting DNI.
Next week, Senate confirmation proceedings for Jay Clayton, President Trump's choice to serve in the permanent role of DNI, are scheduled to begin.
More from Reuters:
The Trump administration has gutted agencies in the name of tackling wasteful spending and fraud but political experts have warned that the effort has led to elimination of vital roles across government bodies. Pulte, an ally of Trump, has no prior national security experience, causing Trump to face a political backlash after the Republican leader's loyalist was picked to fill the role temporarily. Pulte's appointment had raised concerns even among some Republicans that he would "weaponize" intelligence against Trump's perceived political foes. Reuters reported last month that staff at the office of the top U.S. spy were told by managers to expect extensive cuts in the coming months following comments by Trump that he wants the interim director to shrink the agency's ranks. The nomination hearing for Jay Clayton, Trump's nominee to serve as the next U.S. director of national intelligence to lead the nation's 18 intelligence agencies, is scheduled for July 15.
