The Hill had more details to share on the Freedom 250 fireworks show:

President Trump in a late night post praised Saturday’s fireworks show in Washington, D.C., describing the explosive display across the night sky as the “best” ever.
“Best fireworks show, EVER,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post moments after he addressed the nation for Independence Day.

Trump officials said it was the largest fireworks show in U.S. history, with more than 850,000 pyrotechnics being set off in the span of approximately 40 minutes from sites around the National Mall.

The show was set to launch more than 80 times the typical amount of pyrotechnics used in the district for the Fourth of July. The Guinness World Record for fireworks was set during a 2016 New Year’s celebration in the Philippines, which featured 810,754 pyrotechnics and lasted an hour in the pouring rain.

The fifth-generation, family-owned company Pyrotecnico was in charge of the show and stationed eight barges on the Potomac River, according to CBS.

People a left leaning gossip outlet has already sounded the alarm over pollution concerns:

The Fourth of July fireworks display in Washington, D.C., this year — which Donald Trump has claimed will be the “largest” in United States history — is expected to cause hazardous pollution.

The pyrotechnic show on Saturday, July 4, part of the Trump administration’s “Salute to America” event marking the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence at the National Mall, is anticipated to cause hazardous levels of pollution around the D.C. park, according to internal documents from the U.S. National Park Service (NPS), which were obtained and reviewed by The Washington Post.

The display is also expected to create “very unhealthy” conditions in the surrounding area of D.C., the Post reported, citing the same NPS documents.

A draft air-quality analysis from the NPS — which examines best and worst scenarios based on environmental factors like wind conditions and humidity — states that individuals should “avoid prolonged exposure” to the pollution the display is expected to create near the National Mall, the Post reported.
