RIDICULOUS: “Team Algae” Leftists Are Now Protesting Near the Reflecting Pool

Leftists will really use any excuse to protest Trump.

A group of “pro-algae” protestors have popped up at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, apparently to demonstrate against its remodel.

Today’s protest featured a pink frog with a “Team Algae” sign, who made it her job to harass the National Guard members that were sent in to protect the pool from vandalism.

This is just insanely bizarre.

Liberals would really rather have a green, algae-filled, destroyed pool than a beautiful one — all because it was President Trump who ordered the renovations.

But, I guess this is what late-stage TDS looks like: protesting in favor of algae at a national monument while other leftists try to literally tear up President Trump’s efforts.

A few days ago, journalist Emily Miller posted this interview with one of the protests (who, judging by her voice and sign, is the same lady who wore the frog costume today):

This woman was also seen chanting “Algae is smarter than MAGA” while refusing to spell it:

They look about like what you would expect, right?

Of course, these protests come amid sweeping arrests of left-wing vandals, who are accused of damaging the Reflecting Pool as some sort of revenge against President Trump.

Today, President Trump personally inspected the damages, and he has promised that it will all be fixed as soon as possible.

After inspecting the pool, President Trump posted on Truth Social:

Work will begin immediately on fixing the seriously vandalized Reflecting Pool. I just inspected it, and could only say to myself, and those gathered around me, WOW, who would do such a thing? SICK, DERANGED PEOPLE! We will fix it? President DJT

ABC News provided the latest update on the Reflecting Pool vandal arrests:

An administration official said on Sunday that as of Saturday night, five individuals had been arrested for vandalism, and five others had been issued citations.

The Reflecting Pool has been plagued with algae and peeling paint in the days since the Trump administration completed the renovation, which cost more than $16 million, and was $4 million more than the estimated cost.

Visitors have been flocking to the pool over the weekend and some have taken to social media with photos and videos showing the algae and peeling paint.

On Saturday, Trump claimed in a post on Truth Social that the painted surface of the Reflecting Pool had been sabotaged with chemicals.

In a follow-up social media post, Trump said the Reflecting Pool would likely need to be partially drained to repair the peeling lining, which he once again claimed, without evidence, was damaged by intentional sabotage.
