Actress Goes On ‘The View’ To Threaten Political Violence: ‘Punch You In The Mouth’

With anti-ICE and pro-Karmelo Anthony protests becoming violent in communities across the US, it would behoove prominent leftists to help set a cooler tone.

But then there are those like actress Sophia Bush, who was a recent guest host on ABC’s “The View” and used the friendly setting to send a message to anyone who might be in her vicinity with opinions she has deemed unacceptable.

Breitbart provided this report:

Bush also suggested that leftists have to wade into public fights instead of hiding in leftist enclaves, and said, “I think if you don’t go into some of these spaces, you leave a vacuum for the worst misinformation, for the worse racism, for worst sexism to grow. And while I do believe my forever first lady, Michelle Obama should stay high — she should stay high, I don’t want that woman in the muck — but I was raised by a mother who was raised in the Bronx. If you want to go low, I’ll meet you in the gutter. I will meet you in the gutter! I’m done. We have to get in the fight.”

“We kept it classy for too long. And at this point, I’m like, come at me and I’m going to punch you in the mouth,” she exclaimed.

Her on-air tirade sparked some fierce backlash on social media:

Elsewhere during the episode, Bush dutifully referenced President Donald Trump’s recent remarks about inflation in an out-of-context rant aimed at depicting him as “tone deaf.”

As TV Insider reported:

For their first hot topic, the hosts reacted to recent comments made about the inflation caused by the war in Iran. “I love the inflation. You know why? Because as soon as this war is over — you know, I can say it now, something you didn’t know. Do you know we’ve been taking out millions of barrels of oil? Nobody knows it. You know who doesn’t know about it? Iran, until right now,” he said in a clip aired on the show.

In reaction, Goldberg stated, “He tried to walk it back. He tried to clarify things after saying that he loved that inflation numbers were lower than expected. Has he been outside to talk to people? Does he know what’s going on?”

Alyssa Farah Griffin joked that the soundbite will likely be used in upcoming Democratic campaign ads. “The economic stats are unbelievable right now. People are really hurting,” she said.

Bush weighed in, stating, “It also just feels tone-deaf for a guy that got handed $400 million by his daddy for doing nothing to say that in a country where the average American can’t afford an unexpected $400 medical bill for themselves or their children without risking bankruptcy? Who are you to say that the pockets of the American people are not your highest priority as the president?”
