Although the left attempts to portray President Donald Trump’s border policy as somehow bigoted, evidence continues to emerge of the risk to American citizens associated with unchecked illegal immigration.
One recent example out of California has landed an illegal immigrant behind bars and a family “shattered.”
The New York Post shared the story:
The family members of two women and an infant killed in a grisly murder that was allegedly carried out by an illegal immigrant broke their silence on the devastating impact they’re going through.
ADVERTISEMENT“Our family is experiencing a heartbreaking loss that words cannot adequately express,” wrote Marisa Jimenez in a GoFundMe raising money for funeral and memorial expenses. “The devastating circumstances surrounding this tragedy have left our family shattered.”
As of Saturday morning, more than $26,000 of the $30,000 goal had been raised from 544 donations.
Joaquin Escoto, 28, is being held without bail on three counts of murder in the knife slaying of 23-year-old “devoted mother” Fabiola Gonzalez, 54-year-old “loving grandmother” Silvia Nuñez and “innocent” infant Mateo Gonzalez. Escoto allegedly had a child with one of the woman, according to police.
Police responded to a home near Monterey and Thrasher avenues in Modesto following a 911 call reporting a domestic disturbance on Thursday morning. They found 23-year-old Gonzalez dead with with multiple stab wounds. Officers later also found Nuñez and baby Mateo dead with stab wounds, too.
A 4-year-old child found inside the home was alive and taken to the hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, The Post Millennial reported on the resolution to another grisly West Coast case:
A federal judge sentenced an illegal alien to 20 years in prison on Friday for drug and firearms offenses tied to a violent Cartel-affiliated trafficking cell based in Yakima, Washington. Ricardo “Ricky” Orizaba-Zedejas, 23, of Mexico, played a key role in the organization that murdered a young couple and their unborn child after the former associates expressed a desire to cooperate with federal agents, authorities said.
Orizaba-Zedejas was convicted at trial in February of conspiracy to distribute controlled substances and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime in the US District Court for the Southern District of California. Judge Dana M. Sabraw told the defendant at sentencing, “It’s hard to overstate the nature and scope of this conspiracy, and the violence within that conspiracy.”
Jurors found that Orizaba-Zedejas served as a trusted lieutenant, drug dealer, and enforcer for the organization, which sourced illicit narcotics from Mexico and transported them through ports of entry in California to Yakima, Washington, the cell’s home base located on a remote desert ranch, according to the Department of Justice (DOJ).
