President Trump Makes HUGE Announcement About America 250 Concert

Artist after artist has dropped out of a planned concert to ring in America’s 250th birthday this summer, at least in part due to the threats and intimidation of leftists who have tried to portray it as a partisan event.

Despite organizers insisting time and again that America 250 and all the associated festivities are intended to be a unifying celebration, media outlets continue to hype a supposed MAGA affiliation.

It all led up to a statement from the president, who is now calling for the entire concert to be scrapped in favor of a rally.

As The Hill reported:

Trump wrote on Truth Social that there should be “a giant MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN RALLY, for 250, instead of having overpriced singers, who nobody wants to hear, whose music is boring, and yet who do nothing but complain.”

“Cancel it, just like I canceled my involvement with the failing and unsafe to be in Kennedy Center, because a Highly Conflicted, Crooked Federal Judge, said that I should not be allowed to spend my time and money in order to MAKE THE CENTER GREAT AGAIN, actually, far greater than it ever was before!” the president added.

Trump also lamented a federal judge’s ruling on Friday over the president’s renaming of the Kennedy Center, which called for Trump’s name to be removed from the center in 14 days. The president had previously blasted the judge’s ruling, calling the U.S. court system “rigged.”

“So now, the Kennedy Center will collapse, both structurally and financially… Judge Cooper, like numerous other Crooked Judges on my cases, should be IMPEACHED,” Trump wrote, referring to U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper, who made the ruling.

The news sparked significant discussion on social media:

As DW reported, Trump has also indicated a desire to replace the artists who have dropped out, including Bret Michaels of Poison, who cited safety concerns for himself and those close to him:

Trump’s announcement comes a day after multiple performers said they would no longer be a part of the White House-backed event.

These included country singer Martina McBride and glam rocker Bret Michaels, frontman of 1980s band Poison.

“Unfortunately, what was presented to us as a celebration of our country has evolved into something much more divisive than what I agreed to be a part of,” Michaels posted on Facebook. “Concerns have also been raised regarding the safety of my fans, band, crew, family and myself, including threats that are completely unfounded and unforgivable.”

Although the event has been billed as nonpartisan, it was launched last year by Trump and is led by a former State Department appointee from his first term as president.
