Although the Trump administration has made remarkable progress on a number of fronts throughout his nearly one and a half terms in office, his agenda has been threatened at practically every stage by activists seeking to weaponize the court system.
Among the most recent evidence being cited of this continuing trend was a judge’s ruling that President Trump’s name must be removed from the Kennedy Center.
As new evidence emerges about the judge’s background, Trump took to social media to address this case and others he says reflect an often adversarial judiciary.
Per The Hill:
Trump, in a in a lengthy post on Truth Social, claimed, “…our Court System is RIGGED, no different than our Political System is RIGGED, and the people of our Country know it and that is why I got overwhelmingly elected President, in Record Numbers, and will FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!”
The president has made a habit of lashing out at legal decisions he disagrees with throughout his second term, often leveling personal attacksagainst federal judges and conservative Supreme Court justices when they rule against him.
That came on display again when Trump slammed U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper, an appointee of former President Obama, for blocking the Kennedy Center name change and stopping a planned summer closure of the performing arts center for renovations.
Trump accused Cooper of being influenced by his wife, attorney Amy Jeffress, whom the president called a “Radical Left Democrat” associated with his political opponents.
The decision was also widely panned on social media:
Of course another judge with TDS

The math is easy. In about 90% of the district rulings, tell me the judge and who appointed them, and I'll tell you if they're a Trump-hating partisan hack who plays politics and makes up the rules, or a fair-minded judge following the law.

Here’s some additional coverage from USA Today:
A federal judge ordered that President Donald Trump‘s name be removed from the building’s facade and halted planned renovations that would have closed the institution for two years. Trump blasted the order but appeared to abandon his wishes to redesign the building, writing in a social media post that he will transfer control of the venue to Congress.
ADVERTISEMENT“Unless I am free to do what I do better than anyone else, bring this Institution back, physically, financially, and artistically, I have no interest in continuing what could only be a hopeless journey into ‘NEVER NEVER LAND,'” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
The president later said that without the renovations and his plans for the venue, “The Kennedy Center will soon be closed, probably never to open again.”
It was the latest twist in Trump’s monthslong campaign to overhaul the venue he’s criticized for being too “woke.” The center is also among several iconic buildings and cultural institutions in Washington that Trump has sought to redesign to his liking.
But despite Trump’s pledge to hand control of the center to lawmakers, a spokeswoman for the Kennedy Center said an appeal would be filed by the venue’s board, which is made up largely of Trump allies. The Justice Department also signaled plans to appeal.
