WATCH: White House Holds Birthday Party for Marco Rubio


Today is Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s birthday!

He is 55 years young.

To celebrate the occasion, staffers surprised Marco with a birthday party, complete with a giant chocolate cake.

White House Communications Advisor Margo Martin shared the moment they sang “Happy Birthday” to our wonderful Secretary of State before he blew out the candles.

It’s pretty hilarious how the staffers struggled with what to call Marco there…

After all, he dons many, many hats!

It would have taken far too long to name all of his titles!

Whatever you want to call him, Marco Rubio is doing an absolutely phenomenal job in all of his roles at the White House.

The birthday wishes are pouring in on social media.

Even the U.S. Embassy in Cuba honored Marco Rubio’s birthday with a Spanish-language message:

Over the weekend, Marco Rubio had an even bigger birthday celebration during his trip to India.
