Senior White House adviser Stephen Miller has long been an effective communicator of MAGA priorities, both in front of the public and behind the scenes of the Trump administration.
That has made him an easy target for Trump critics, including the Democratic National Committee itself.
As The Hill reported, the DNC authorized a profane attack on Miller’s appearance in a social media post that received widespread condemnation:
The adviser to President Trump quoted the message online and wrote, “The Democrats made history in Texas by nominating their first transgender senate candidate.”
ADVERTISEMENTThe party replied swiftly with, “shut up you ugly f—.”
Talarico, who is set to face Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) in November after incumbent Sen. John Cornyn (R) lost in the primary runoff, has been subject to attacks from Republicans based on false claims that he’s transgender and criticism for his stance on gender at large.
On Wednesday, Miller’s wife, Katie, slammed the DNC’s response to her husband’s post as another example of “violent rhetoric” spread by the Democratic Party.
“This is the same violent political rhetoric that is leading people to shooting up, whether it be the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, or President Trump in Butler,” Katie Miller said during an appearance on Fox News’s “The Ingraham Angle.”
The opprobrium was palpable in response to the DNC’s post, which was still live as of this writing:

Keep talking like that. Surely that'll win you an election.

Predictably, it was Katie Miller’s response, not the DNC’s attack, that HuffPost labeled “extreme” in its headline on the matter. And Buzzfeed noted in its sloppy style that many Democrats want to see more of this behavior from party leaders:
“It’s well overdue that you guys stop holding this doctrine ‘when they go low we go high’, it’s not working with them,” this person added. “Congratulations.”
They want this type of energy metaphorically injected into their veins.
It’s a new look for dems…
“The old woke is dying, and the new woke struggles to be born: now is the time of monsters.”
…and one the party seems to want to stick around.
Here’s a clip of Katie Miller’s on-air remarks:
