After 84 days, the war with Iran appears to be finally coming to an end!
After canceling all of his weekend plans, President Trump held an extremely significant conference call from the White House with the leaders of several nations today to negotiate a peace deal with Iran.
It looks like the talks went extremely well, because President Trump just let us know on Truth Social that the deal has been “largely negotiated,” with just a few final aspects still being determined.
He said that we can expect a deal, which will include the re-opening of the Strait of Hormuz, to be announced shortly.
Check it out:

Read President Trump’s full statement on Truth Social here:
I am in the Oval Office at the White House where we just had a very good call with President Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, of The United Arab Emirates, Emir Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, and Minister Ali al-Thawadi, of Qatar, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Ahmed Shah, of Pakistan, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, of Türkiye, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, of Egypt, King Abdullah II, of Jordan, and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, of Bahrain, concerning the Islamic Republic of Iran, and all things related to a Memorandum of Understanding pertaining to PEACE. An Agreement has been largely negotiated, subject to finalization between the United States of America, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the various other Countries, as listed. Separately, I had a call with Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu, of Israel, which, likewise, went very well. Final aspects and details of the Deal are currently being discussed, and will be announced shortly. In addition to many other elements of the Agreement, the Strait of Hormuz will be opened. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP
As President Trump noted in that post, he also had a phone call with Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu on the matter.
According to Axios, that call was extremely tense:
President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed a new effort to reach a deal with Iran in a difficult call on Tuesday, three sources said, with one source saying Netanyahu’s “hair was on fire” after the call.
Why it matters: A revised peace memo was drafted by Qatar and Pakistan with input from the other regional mediators to try to bridge the gaps between the U.S. and Iran, the sources said. It comes with Trump vacillating over ordering a massive strike on Iran and holding out for a deal.
- Netanyahu is highly skeptical about the negotiations and wants to resume the war to further degrade Iran’s military capabilities and weaken the regime by destroying its critical infrastructure.
Trump continues to say he thinks a deal can be reached but that he’s ready to resume the war if it isn’t.
- “The only question is do we go and finish it up or are they gonna be signing a document. Let’s see what happens,” he said on Wednesday at the Coast Guard Academy. Later on Wednesday, he said the U.S. and Iran were “right on the borderline” between getting a deal and resuming the war.
- Trump also said Netanyahu “will do whatever I want him to do” on Iran, though he also said they had a good relationship. The two leaders have had temporary disagreements on Iran before but have remained closely coordinated throughout the war.
Boy, what a day it’s been!
Yesterday, when we got news that President Trump was skipping his son’s wedding and canceling his golf plans, we knew something big would be happening this weekend…
Then, earlier, VP JD Vance’s motorcade was spotted racing back to the White House unexpectedly:
🚨 BREAKING: Vice President JD Vance has made an UNPLANNED RETURN to Washington, DC, and his motorcade is racing to the White House
President Trump has summoned his whole national security team to a meeting on Iran.

Many folks had wondered if this meant more military strikes were coming.
And, that was certainly a possibility, with President Trump saying earlier today that the chances of a deal were “50/50.”
However, now it seems like the chances of striking a peaceful solution to the end of military operations are much higher.
More from Fox News:
The breakthrough announcement follows intense diplomatic efforts and military pressures surrounding the war with Iran.
ADVERTISEMENTEarlier in the day, Trump reportedly told Axios that he was a “solid 50/50” on whether he would sign a deal or resume combat operations to “blow them to kingdom come.”
However, following the conference call with Arab leaders, a regional diplomat told Fox News the discussions were “very positive” and that regional leaders were highly supportive of “the breakthrough President Trump achieved with the talks.”
The impending diplomatic agreement comes amid significant U.S. military action in the region.
U.S. Central Command recently announced a milestone of redirecting 100 commercial vessels during a weeks-long maritime blockade of Iranian ports aimed at squeezing the country economically.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio previously signaled negotiators were making progress, emphasizing that any resolution would require Iran to keep the Strait of Hormuz open without tolls and surrender its enriched uranium.
We’ll keep you updates as more details about the impending deal come in…
Pray for peace!
