Top House Democrat Diagnoses President Trump With Laughable New ‘Derangement Syndrome’

Democrats often engage in projection; i.e., they tend to accuse their political opponents of the very behavior they exhibit.

But few do it as blatantly as House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) in his recent attack on President Donald Trump.

Given Jeffries’ tendency to focus an overwhelming amount of his attention on criticizing the current administration, he’s been among the many Democrats accused at various times of suffering from so-called “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

But instead of seeking treatment, he sought to invent a new “derangement syndrome” that he conveniently also concluded the president had contracted, as Fox News reported:

The Hill had more about Trump’s initial criticism of Jeffries’ remarks about the Supreme Court:

Last week, Jeffries called a recent Supreme Court decision on the Voting Rights Act “unacceptable” in a press conference, while also calling the high court’s conservative majority “illegitimate.”

In a Saturday post on X, Jeffries shared a screenshot of the president’s message and mockingly wrote, “Do you need a hug? Be Best.”

Jeffries had used the phrase “illegitimate Supreme Court majority” during remarks at a news conference on Wednesday.

Of course, Jeffries tough-guy anti-Trump bravado dates back a lot further than this debate, or even this profanity-laced tirade he unleashed a few months ago:
