Secretary of War Pete Hegseth FIRES Nuclear Chief Who Leaked Classified Information

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth just confirmed that Andrew Hugg, the U.S. Army’s Branch Chief for Chemical Nuclear Surety, has been fired.

Recently, Andrew Hugg was caught on hidden camera divulging classified information during a restaurant date with a total stranger he met on a dating app.

In an undercover video captured by James O’Keefe’s investigative team, Hugg revealed several military secrets, including:

  • Plans to potentially assassinate Iran’s next Supreme Leader
  • U.S. strikes have killed Iranian children
  • An Army chemist died after being exposed to a chemical nerve agent

BREAKING NEWS: Top U.S. Nuclear Chief Caught LEAKING Sensitive National Security Information to Stranger, Reveals Army Chemist Was Exposed to U.S. Chemical Nerve Agent, Confirms U.S. Strike Killed Children in Iran, Discloses U.S. Plans to ‘Kill Iran’s New Supreme Leader’

“If he [Mojtaba Khamenei] doesn’t change his ways, yeah, they’re [United States] going to kill him.”

“The easiest way to get intelligence…send a pretty girl, talk to the guy…I have to resist your eyes.”

“Your eyes have mesmerized me so much…Almost like you’re an intelligence.”

Andrew Hugg, a U.S. Chief of Chemical Nuclear Surety, was caught on hidden camera casually revealing sensitive information to a stranger in a public restaurant. Andrew Hugg, Chief of Chemical Nuclear Surety, in charge of nuclear and chemical safety was caught on hidden camera releasing information regarding the U.S. Nuclear Information. He claims the U.S. still possesses nerve agents and says a U.S. Army chemist recently died from exposure.

He also acknowledges U.S. airstrikes have killed children in Iran, calling it “collateral damage,” and revealed to the journalist how nuclear launch decisions are made in real time.

Hugg described how the United States could assassinate Iran’s next leader if he “doesn’t change,” while admitting the U.S. has no plans to use nuclear weapons: “We’re not going to nuke anybody.”

All of this was casually revealed to an undercover journalist in a restaurant. This raises serious questions about this official’s judgment, security, and what’s really happening behind closed doors.

We have reached out to the Pentagon and U.S. Army for comment and they are working on a response.

This is absolutely wild.

Keep in mind that this isn’t just some “nobody” employed at the Pentagon — it’s one of our nation’s top-ranking nuclear scientists!

Andrew Hugg has been serving in his position at the Pentagon since 2024.

Wealth of Geeks via Yahoo News provided more details on his background:

Hugg had led this specific branch since at least August 2024, as listed on his LinkedIn profile, which was quietly removed after the incident. He now finds himself at the center of an undercover video released by O’Keefe Media Group, a conservative-leaning investigative outlet, that alleges a breach of more than just social etiquette.

The Army confirmed on April 21, 2026, that it placed Mr. Hugg on administrative leave while it conducts a thorough investigation into the matter. This followed the release of footage described as running roughly fourteen minutes, a figure the U.S. government has not independently confirmed. What makes this story land differently from the average Washington scandal is what Hugg actually does for a living, because that detail changes everything.

It shouldn’t be that easy to get someone in Hugg’s position to spill military secrets.

We need to vet these people better.

After the video was released, Hugg was promptly fired and escorted out of the Pentagon building.

James O’Keefe shared a statement from the U.S. Army:

And now, Pete Hegseth has directly confirmed Hugg’s removal.

During a press conference this afternoon, Hegseth was asked to address the situation.

Backup here if needed:

This guy absolutely deserved to be fired…

But, some people believe that just firing him isn’t enough.

Many folks on X are calling for prosecutions:
