REPORT: Vehicle Used in Michigan Synagogue Attack Registered to Lebanese Migrant

More information is being revealed about the attacker who rammed a car into a Michigan synagogue and opened fire this afternoon.

An identity has not been released yet.

However, it’s being reported that the vehicle used in the attack was registered to a ‘migrant’ from Lebanon who lives in Dearborn, MI.

Here’s what we know:

BREAKING: I’m told by three law enforcement sources that the vehicle used in the attack at a Michigan synagogue today is registered to a naturalized U.S. citizen from Lebanon who lives in Dearborn, MI.

I have a name, but am waiting for confirmation that name matches the badly burned corpse that was driving the vehicle.

If Dearborn sounds familiar, it’s because the town is known for its predominantly Muslim population.

The attacker was killed in a shootout with security at the Temple Israel synagogue.

A security guard was injured, but he is expected to recover.

Thankfully, nobody else was harmed.

Temple Israel released this statement, per NBC News:

All 140 students at Temple Israel’s childhood center are accounted for as well as the teachers and staff, the synagogue said in a statement on Facebook.

“Everyone is safe,” it said.

The synagogue credited its “heroic” security personnel for confronting the gunman, who has yet to be identified, in its first comment since this afternoon’s attack. It also expressed gratitude to those at the Shenendoah Country Club for sheltering its students and staff in the wake of the attack.

“What incredible neighbors we have,” Temple Israel said. “What incredible police force we have.”

The gunman who killed a professor and injured two other individuals at Old Dominion University was also a Muslim migrant with terrorist ties.
