The gunman who killed one person and injured two others in a horrific shooting at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia has just been identified.
He was a Muslim named Mohamed Jalloh.
In case you’re wondering, Jalloh was a naturalized citizen who originally immigrated to the U.S. from Sierra Leone.
He was also a former member of the Virginia National Guard.
Here are a few photos of Jalloh:

Infuriatingly, Jalloh had been convicted on charges related to terrorism in the past.
Specifically, in 2016, he was jailed for attempting to provide support to ISIS!
Here’s everything we know about him so far:

WHY IS SOMEONE CONVICTED OF SUPPORTING ISIS WALKING FREE?
Jalloh a naturalized US citizen from Sierra Leone, traveled overseas MULTIPLE times attempting to join ISIS.
He was convicted in federal court, and released from federal prison in 2024. He should’ve been in GUANTANAMO BAY!
ADVERTISEMENTThe shooter is now deceased. Good riddance.
Being convicted of trying to help ISIS should have been enough to lock this guy up for life and/or get him de-naturalized and deported!
But, Jalloh only served 7 years out of an 11-year sentence in prison before he was set free late in 2024.
CBS News reported:
The shooter has been identified by law enforcement sources as Mohamed Bailor Jalloh, a former Virginia National Guardsman who pleaded guilty in October 2016 to attempting to provide material support to the terror group ISIS. He was sentenced to 11 years in prison and was released early in December 2024, according to his Federal Bureau of Prisons record.
Two victims were taken to a Norfolk hospital and another victim took themselves to a hospital in Virginia Beach, Old Dominion Police Chief Garrett Shelton said during a news conference. Shelton didn’t identify the victim who died, but he said all of the victims were affiliated with the university. The other two victims were in stable condition.
Army Secretary Dan Driscoll said on social media that two of the victims were Army personnel. “I’m praying for them and all those impacted by this terrible event,” Driscoll said.
Bill Melugin of Fox News shared a statement from the DOJ after Jalloh’s 2016 arrest:

Multiple federal sources confirm to @FoxNews that the suspected ODU shooter is Mohamed Jalloh, a naturalized U.S. citizen from Sierra Leone who was convicted in 2017 of providing support to ISIS. He was released in December 2024. Here’s what DOJ said after his arrest in 2016:
“Jalloh praised the gunman who killed five U.S. military members in a terrorist attack in Chattanooga, Tennessee, in July 2015, and stated that he had been thinking about conducting an attack similar to the November 2009 attack at Ft. Hood, Texas.”
Here’s a clip of an ODU student confirming that Jalloh was a Muslim and student at the university:

The so-called “religion of peace” strikes again…
Along with injuring two innocent people, Jalloh also killed a professor at the university.
He may have murdered even more people, had it not been for a brave student who jumped into action and stabbed Jalloh to death after he shot the professor.
The New York Post has more:
Mohamed Bailor Jalloh, 36, stormed into a classroom inside ODU’s Constant Hall and asked if it was an ROTC class. When someone confirmed that it was, he opened fire, shooting the professor several times, law enforcement sources said.
A heroic ROTC student jumped into action before more damage was done, stabbing Jalloh to death after the crazed suspect gunned down the class instructor, the sources said.
ADVERTISEMENTThe instructor was a retired military officer who was declared dead at a hospital, according to sources.
Wow.
That student was a hero for taking out the gunman and saving countless lives!
As for the shooting, FBI Director Kash Patel says that it is now being investigated as an act of terrorism.

Earlier today, an armed individual opened fire at Old Dominion University, leaving one person dead and two others wounded. The shooter is now deceased thanks to a group of brave students who stepped in and subdued him – actions that undoubtedly saved lives along with the quick response of law enforcement.
The FBI is now investigating the shooting as an act of terrorism. Our Joint Terrorism Task Force is fully engaged, embedded with local authorities, and providing all resources necessary in the investigation.
In the meantime, please pray for the victims, their families, and the ODU community.
Please pray for the victims and their families.
At this time, we don’t know whether or not there were any links to the ODU shooting and the Michigan synagogue attack, which both took place today.
But on another very disconcerting note, the name Mohamed Jollah is very similar to the name of another migrant who stabbed an innocent mother to death at a bus stop in Virginia last month.
In that awful case, a 32-year-old man named Abdul Jalloh was arrested.
He was also from Sierra Leone.

HORRIFIC: Illegal Alien Charged After Stabbing Virginia Mother to Death at Bus Stop
These two terrible incidents may or may not be connected.
Nick Sortor noted:
I’ll try to see if there’s a connection, but Muslims aren’t very creative with their names.
So don’t be surprised if they’re completely unrelated.

But, either way, it's very troubling that two Sierra Leone 'migrants' committed such atrocities in the same state within a short time-frame.
The pattern is worrisome.
These kind of lunatics do not need to be in our country -- especially if they are convicted terrorists or violent repeat offenders!
OF COURSE HIS NAME WAS MOHAMED!!!!!!!!!
EVERY. FREAKING. TIME!!!!!
WHY ARE WE NOT DEPORTING THESE TERRORISTS?!!!!!!
WHY WAS HE WALKING FREE???????
