There are already fireworks at President Trump’s State of the Union address.
As President Trump was set to stand behind the podium, Democrat Representative Al Green of Texas held up a sign that read “Black People Aren’t Apes.”

USA Today had more to share on Green getting the boot:
One Democratic congressman had choice words for President Donald Trump before his State of the Union Address.
As Trump walked to the podium in the House of Representatives chamber, Rep Al Green, D-Texas, held a sign behind the president reading: “Black people aren’t apes.”
Green was ushered out of the chamber minutes later. He appeared to have a heated exchange with several Republicans as he left the chamber.
The sign referenced a video Trump posted on social media in early February depicting Barack and Michelle Obama, the former president and first lady, as apes. Politicians on both sides of the aisle called the video racist.
A video of it:

Sen. Markwayne Mullin attempted to snatch the sign from Rep. Green:

Rep. Steve Scalise also took a swipe at it:

Green’s sign appears to be a reference to President Trump’s now-deleted Truth Social post that featured Barack and Michelle Obama as monkeys.
