Trump Adviser Says President Trump Is Creating The “New World Order”

I wasn’t expecting to hear this from a Trump adviser.

Trump adviser Kevin Hassett said President Trump is creating the New World Order.

Hassett made the remarks while making an appearance on Fox Business.

Mediaite reported more on Hassett’s comments:

Kevin Hassett, the director of the National Economic Council, boasted on Fox Business that President Donald Trump was “creating” the “New World Order.”

Asked by Fox Business host Charles Payne on Thursday what viewers could expect from Trump’s Davos speech this year, Hassett replied that there would be “some look at the New World Order that President Trump is creating.”

“You know, a lot of countries that were whining about tariffs six months ago and saying that President Trump was going to harm their economies had pretty good years,” he continued. “And I think it’s in part because people recognize that President Trump has made it so that we are the shining city on the hill again. We are the engine of global economic growth because the U.S. is really that strong again.”

“New world what now,” reacted the Bulwark’s Andrew Egger, while conspiracy theory expert Mike Rothschild asked, “A new world order, huh? Wasn’t Trump supposed to be the guy who shattered the new world order and spread it to the four winds?”

Canada’s Prime Minister Mark Carney also made some bizarre comments similar to Hasset’s during his latest visit to Beijing.

Carney was in Beijing to announce a new partnership with Canada and China.

However, while commenting on the new partnership, the Canadian Prime Minister stated that the partnership with China will usher in the “New World Order.”

The Independent reported more on Carney’s bizarre comments:

A new strategic partnership between China and Canada could set both nations up for the “new world order”, Canadian prime minister Mark Carney said during a historic trip to Beijing for trade talks.

Mr Carney arrived in Beijing on Wednesday night for a four-day visit designed to repair ties between the two nations as Canada hopes to firm up relations with countries other than the US. It’s the first visit by a Canadian leader to China in nearly a decade.

“The world has changed much since that last visit. I believe the progress that we have made in the partnership sets us up well for the new world order,” Mr Carney said.

He told Chinese president Xi Jinping: “We’ll deliver stability, security and prosperity for people on both sides.

“It is important to start this new strategic partnership at a time of division,” Mr Carney told Mr Xi, calling for focus on areas that can bring “historic gains” for both, such as agriculture, agri-food, energy, and finance.

President Xi hailed a “turnaround of ties” between both nations, which he said was achieved since he met Mr Carney at the annual Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in South Korea late last year.

Mr Xi said he was also “pleased” with the months of cooperation between the two countries across various fields. “The healthy and stable development of China-Canada relations is conducive to world peace, stability, development, and prosperity,” Mr Xi told the visiting prime minister.
