Americans Are Saving Big at the Pump — CNN Confirms It

This year, holiday travel is smashing records — but, so are gas prices.

Under the Trump administration, gas prices are now at their lowest in years, since April of 2021.

The average national price is just $2.86 per gallon, with many states seeing even lower numbers.

Right now, the state of Oklahoma has the cheapest gas prices at an average of $2.29 per gallon.

It’s predicated that gas prices will go down even more before Christmas Day.

CNN’s Matt Egan broke it all down in this clip:

Backup here, if needed:

What CNN neglected to mention is that the national average is skewed by primarily Democrat-run states.

The majority of states with gas prices still over $3 are blue.

Without these states in the picture, the average price per gallon would be even cheaper.

The Washington Examiner noted:

The national average for gas prices fell to $2.881 per gallon on Friday, marking another week of decreases at the pumps.

Friday’s prices mark a five-cent decrease from a week ago, when the national average price for a gallon of regular gas was $2.93, and a month ago, when it was $3.09, according to AAA. Fuel costs are also lower than a year ago, during the waning days of the Biden administration, when a gallon of regular gas was $3.045. Also of importance is the fact that there are now 40 states in the U.S. with average gas prices under $3 per gallon. Of the 11 remaining areas with gas prices over $3 per gallon, which includes Washington, D.C., eight are states with Democratic governors.

But, don’t just take it from the experts.

Folks on X are sharing gas prices from their cities:

So much for the “affordability crisis” that Democrats are trying to manufacture.

What a win.
