FBI Director Kash Patel’s Girlfriend Receives Elite FBI SWAT Team As Security Detail

FBI Director Kash Patel’s girlfriend has just received security detail.

Alexis Wilkins the girlfriend of Patel is reportedly receiving security detail from FBI SWAT team members in Tennessee.

Wilkins is receiving the detail after various users on X without evidence claimed she was a Mossad agent.

The girlfriend of FBI Director Kash Patel has been receiving a protective detail, the bureau confirmed Monday, a decision it says comes in response to threats.

It’s not unusual for the spouse of the FBI director to have a detail, but according to reporting from MS NOW, protection for Alexis Wilkins has tapped SWAT team members in Tennessee.

“Ms. Wilkins is receiving a protective detail because she has faced hundreds of credible death threats related to her relationship with Director Patel, whom she has been dating for three years,” an FBI spokesperson said in a statement.

“Out of respect for her safety, we will not be providing additional details.”

Wilkins has been the subject of various conspiracy theories, including that she could be an Israeli spy — accusations that have sparked lawsuits from the country music singer.

However, it’s unusual for SWAT team members to serve in a protective capacity, as the highly trained teams are typically on standby to respond to high risk situations like terror attacks, shootouts, raids and hostage situations.

Other director spouses who have received protective details have been living with the director at the time.

Patel recently received backlash after flying on a FBI private jet to meet with Wilkins, per People:

Two years after criticizing his predecessor’s use of private jets, current FBI Director Kash Patel allegedly used a government-owned plane to fly to see his girlfriend.

Patel reportedly used a $60 million jet owned by the FBI to travel to State College, Pa., where his girlfriend, country singer Alexis Wilkins, performed “The Star-Spangled Banner” at a wrestling event at Penn State University’s Bryce Jordan Center, per The Daily Beast and The New Republic.

Wilkins shared photos from the Oct. 25 event, hosted by Real American Freestyle, to her X account. In another photo from the event, Wilkins can be seen posing next to Patel inside what appears to be the event venue.

Patel has been a vocal critic of government officials using official planes for personal business. In a 2023 episode of his podcast Kash’s Corner, Patel said that he wanted to “ground Chris Wray’s private jet travel that he pays for with taxpayer dollars to hop around the country,” referring to his predecessor at the FBI, according to the Associated Press. Patel’s predecessor, Christopher Wray, was also appointed by President Donald Trump.
