“Charlie Kirk Elementary” Proposed As New Name for North Dakota School


A new elementary school in North Dakota could be named in honor of late conservative legend Charlie Kirk.

“Charlie Kirk Elementary” has been chosen as one of twenty-nine finalists for the new school in Fargo, ND, which is set to open in 2028.

‘Charlie Kirk Elementary’ Among Finalists for New North Dakota School Name

The twenty-nine finalist names were selected from over 400 suggestions that local community members submitted.

Fargo City Commissioner Michelle Turnberg was the one who originally suggested naming the elementary school after Charlie Kirk.

The final name will be decided at an upcoming board meeting on November 25th.

Naming the new school ‘Charlie Kirk Elementary’ gained attention when it was suggested by Fargo City Commissioner Michelle Turnberg.

Charlie Kirk was a conservative activist who died after being shot at a university event in Utah.
