The State Department said on Tuesday it identified visa holders who “celebrated the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk.”
“The United States has no obligation to host foreigners who wish death on Americans,” the State Department said.
“Here are just a few examples of aliens who are no longer welcome in the U.S.,” it added.

“An Argentine national said that Kirk ‘devoted his entire life spreading racist, xenophobic, misogynistic rhetoric’ and deserves to burn in h***. Visa revoked,” the State Department wrote.
“A South African national mocked Americans grieving the loss of Kirk, saying ‘they’re hurt that the racist rally ended in attempted martyrdom’ and alleging ‘he was used to astroturf a movement of white nationalist trailer trash.’ Visa revoked,” it added.

“A Brazilian national charged that ‘Charlie Kirk was the reason for a Nazi rally where they marched in homage to him’ and that Kirk ‘DIED TOO LATE.’ Visa revoked,” it added.

More from the Associated Press:
The six foreigners who had their visas revoked were from Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Mexico, Paraguay and South Africa. They were not identified.
Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio “will defend our borders, our culture, and our citizens by enforcing our immigration laws,” the State Department said. “Aliens who take advantage of America’s hospitality while celebrating the assassination of our citizens will be removed.”
Vice President JD Vance and other top U.S. officials have encouraged people to call out offensive language about Kirk that they see online. In an unusual tweet last month, Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau asked social media users to copy him on any relevant posts, saying he was personally “disgusted to see some on social media praising, rationalizing, or making light of the event, and have directed our consular officials to undertake appropriate action.”
In addition to Tuesday’s action, the administration has ramped up efforts to identify and potentially expel thousands of foreigners in the United States, notably students, who it says have either fomented or participated in unrest or publicly supported protests against Israel’s military operations in Gaza. The administration has also denied visas to applicants whose social media histories have been critical of its policies.

Rubio said last month the State Department has “most certainly been denying visas” to people “celebrating” the assassination of Charlie Kirk, CNN reported.

CNN reported last month:
Rubio, in remarks before departing Israel Tuesday morning local time, claimed that the policy “isn’t just about Charlie Kirk.”
“If you’re a foreigner and you’re out there celebrating the assassination of someone who was speaking somewhere, I mean, we don’t want you in the country,” he said.
“Why would we want to give a visa to someone who think it’s good that someone was murdered in the public square? That’s just common sense to me,” he continued.
