With a constant stream of hilariously INSULTING memes shared to social media, President Trump is sending a clear signal to top Democrats.
He has no inclination of giving in to the demands of Chuck Schumer or Hakeem Jeffries.
The Administration has repeatedly used words like “unreasonable” in characterizing their conversations with the two Democrat leaders of the House and Senate.
With certain unfunded portions of the government now operating under shutdown conditions, the Democrat duo may have expected the Trump Administration to change it’s tone and become suddenly more agreeable to their demands.
But President Trump has only intensified his mockery of the position taken up by Schumer and Jeffries since the shutdown commenced at midnight last night.
We have previously reported on the steady stream of merciless mockery hurled in the direction of the House Minority Leader, Hakeem Jeffries, first in this story:
HILARIOUS: Hakeem Jeffries Responds Angrily to President Trump’s Meme Video LIVE On MSNBC
Rep. Jeffies responded to President Trump's initial AI-generated jab with exactly the amount of humor you might expect -- NONE AT ALL.
But luckily he did so right in front of the cameras during an appearance on MSNBC!
And then WLT's own Kaley covered the FOLLOW-UP JAB when President Trump trolled Jeffries with a SECOND video!:
President Trump Trolls Hakeem Jeffries With ANOTHER Meme Video After MSNBC Meltdown!
Kaley also reported on the witty move President Trump took in order to highlight the RIDICULOUS nature of the demands coming from Jeffries -- offered up in exchange for the promise of Dem votes to keep the government from shutting down.
If you didn't catch it, President Trump had 'Trump 2028' hats proudly displayed on the Resolute Desk during his Oval Office meeting with Schumer and Jeffries:
But just a short time ago, President Trump pulled out all the stops.
Setting his sights on Schumer this time, the White House dropped a meme that matches the 'unreasonable' nature of Schumer's insistence that FREE HEALTHCARE be provided for illegals (even though he denies the truth of that statement).
For a deeper dig into THAT issue... here's my story from yesterday where I delve into exactly whether the Democrats have a leg to stand on when they now deny that Republican accusation:
Nancy Pelosi Comes UNHINGED as Narrative Collapses: “Tell Them to Go F**K Themselves”
But the latest from the White House is sure to leave the Democrats melting down once again.
Check out what they just dropped via the official White House X account:

One follow-up response caught my attention; almost as funny as Schumer in a hotdog suit.
I literally almost spit out my coffee when I saw this:

As I stated up front... President Trump isn't sending any mixed signals.
He obviously has NO INTENTION of dealing with Schumer and Jeffries' UNREASONABLE demands.
If you read my story headlining Pelosi's expletive-laden outburst, you know that President Trump has Jeffries and Schumer -- the entire Democrat party and their failed policies -- lined up for a checkmate.
And there's no reason he should let up just when their schemes and political pandering is just about to come home to roost.
JD Vance went even further earlier today, explaining that the primary motivating factor for SCHUMER in withholding Dem votes and causing the shutdown has a serious selfish component for Chuck.
The Vice President contents that Schumer is personally trying to hold off challengers to his own Senate seat, as reported this morning by Fox News:
With neither President Donald Trump and the Republican majority in Congress, nor congressional Democrats, willing to lower the temperature, the government shut down at midnight Tuesday.
And both sides are blasting each other in a verbal fistfight with plenty of policy and political implications as next year's battle for Congress heats up.
"IT’S MIDNIGHT. That means the Republican shutdown has just begun because they wouldn’t protect Americans’ health care. We’re going to keep fighting for the American people," Senate Minority Leader Sen. Chuck Schumer posted on social media as the shutdown began.
Republicans countered, blaming Schumer and Democrats for the shutdown.
ADVERTISEMENT"This is basically Chuck Schumer," Vice President JD Vance said Wednesday in an interview on Fox News' "Fox and Friends." "He's worried he's going to get a primary challenge from AOC [Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez]."
"I think it's important for the American people to realize that the far-left faction of Senate Democrats shut down the government because we wouldn't give them hundreds of billions of dollars for health care benefits for illegal aliens," Vance said in his "Fox and Friends" interview.
But Schumer, speaking with FOX Business on Wednesday morning, argued that "the American people are on our side, completely and totally. They don't want their healthcare decimated."
"There is one reason and one reason alone that Chuck Schumer is leading the Democrats off this cliff. He is trying to get political cover from the far-left corner of his base. He's afraid of a challenge for his Senate seat by AOC or someone like that," House Speaker Mike Johnson claimed in a Wednesday interview on Fox Business' "Mornings with Maria."
The record would argue that VP Vance is right on target with that assertion.
Why else would Schumer go from vehemently opposing illegal immigration back in 1996...
To conspiring to provide those illegals with free taxpayer-funded healthcare?
Check out this clip shared on X of Schumer in 1996 -- can you even believe that this is the same man as the 2025 Schumer?:
1996. Chuck Schumer rails against illegals getting taxpayer funded benefits because it incentivizes more illegal immigration:
“People say, why can't you stop illegal immigrants from coming here?"
“The number one answer we give our constituents is when they come here, they can… pic.twitter.com/NmgEXEYCbq

You can't tell me that he went from one end of that political stance to the extreme other end because his PRINCIPLES shifted that much.
I will, however, entertain the likelihood that there were no principles involved in his political stance, either in '96, or in 2025.
And the only thing that happened was the desire to create an entirely new voting base friendly to the Democrats, and the insatiable desire to thwart President Trump at every step.
JD Vance spoke to the 'ridiculous' and 'unreasonable' nature of the Democrat position on the shut down in a different conversation than I referenced earlier.
Fielding a question about Schumer and Jeffries' reactions to those 'Trump 2028' hats, the Vice President chuckled -- and used those exact words, according to this report from The Daily Caller:
Vice President J.D. Vance described the reactions of Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer of New York and Democratic Rep. Hakeem Jeffries of New York to “Trump 2028” hats during a Wednesday appearance on “Fox and Friends.”
Trump posted the image of the hat that was prominently displayed during Tuesday’s meeting with Schumer and Jeffries to discuss a short-term spending bill to prevent a government shutdown on Truth Social. After “Fox and Friends” co-host Ainsley Earhardt asked about the negotiations, co-hosts Brian Kilmeade and Lawrence Jones jumped in to ask about the hats.
“Thank you, Lawrence, that’s the most important part, they’re also the Trump 2028 hats, which I think made the minority leader in both the House and Senate very uncomfortable,” Vance said while chuckling at Jones and Kilmeade’s question. “But look, it was the four of them plus me and the president, and we were having a very good conversation about health care policy, but the president finally threw up his hands and said, let’s absolutely work on this healthcare policy disagreement, we want to fix this issue for American people, but we’re not going to be taken hostage. We’re not going to shut down the government and give you everything you want. Let’s negotiate, but we’re not going to reward this behavior.”
“You have to remember, their first proposal about a week ago was to give a bunch of health care money to illegal aliens and they came back and said okay, no, we don’t have to do that, let’s do this other thing,” Vance continued. “You don’t do a negotiation like that. You don’t take the American economy hostage and then tell the president of the United States, give us everything that we want or we will shut down the people’s government. It’s ridiculous, and look, we had a good conversation, but a conversation where they refused to acknowledge their negotiating tactic was unreasonable.”
That 'ridiculous' theme pointed out by Vance has been a CONSISTENT one with Schumer.
While researching this story, I stumbled on another jab President Trump took at Schumer recently.
And oddly enough, the clip of this moment -- which I had forgotten about! -- was shared by none other than Charlie Kirk.
Back in March, many of us laughed when President Trump openly asserted that Chuck Schumer had somehow transitioned (see what I did just now...) from being Jewish, to 'becoming Palestinian'.
The quip came because Schumer was, as always, attempting to oppose President Trump's attempts to end the fighting in Gaza.
And Charlie Kirk laughed along with many of us at President Trump's ability to deliver hilarious comedy right alongside his stellar leadership... whenever the RIDICULOUS nature of the Democrat political stance deserved to be matched in kind:
President Trump on Chuck Schumer:
"Schumer is a Palestinian as far as I'm concerned. He used to be Jewish. He's not Jewish anymore, he's a Palestinian. Okay..."
— Charlie Kirk (@charliekirk11) March 12, 2025
That final clip was months old, but besides the fact that Charlie Kirk shared it...
It just shows how consistently Chuck Schumer has fallen prey to President Trump's sense of humor for playing the role of an annoying gnat ever-buzzing in his ear for no better reasoning than political grandstanding for the radicals in his base.
Don't get me wrong -- the President's willingness to treat the Democrat leadership's childish impertinence in kind has never proven an effective correction for their behavior.
But at least it keeps the rest of us expectantly hopeful of a good laugh on any given day!
