FBI FIRES Agents Photographed Kneeling During George Floyd Riots

Here’s some good news…

A group of FBI agents who were photographed back in 2020 kneeling during the George Floyd riots have just been fired!

If you don’t remember what I’m talking about, here are the photos in question:

Instead of doing their jobs at the George Floyd riots, these agents knelt to avoid getting into conflict with the so-called “protestors.”

FBI FIRES 20 AGENTS INCLUDING GROUP WHO KNELT WITH BLM PROTESTERS

The FBI terminated approximately 20 agents, including 15 associated with the 2020 incident where agents knelt with George Floyd protesters in Washington, DC.

The firings came after a review by the FBI’s inspection division.

The agents had been deployed to protect federal buildings but weren’t trained for crowd control.

When confronted by protesters, they knelt to de-escalate tensions, successfully avoiding confrontation.

Photos of the kneeling went viral.

Former FBI Director Christopher Wray’s administration found no policy violations.

However, the current FBI leadership reassessed the incident this year, first reassigning the agents to less desirable positions before ultimately terminating them.

Five years later, accountability finally arrives for agents who chose activism over professionalism.

All of these agents were demoted last spring.

But now, they have been officially terminated.

AP reported:

The FBI has fired agents who were photographed kneeling during a racial justice protest in Washington that followed the 2020 death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police officers, three people familiar with the matter said Friday.

The bureau last spring had reassigned the agents but has since fired them, said the people, who insisted on anonymity to discuss personnel matters with The Associated Press.

The number of FBI employees terminated was not immediately clear, but two people said it was roughly 20.

The photographs at issue showed a group of agents taking a knee in apparent solidarity during one of the demonstrations following the May 2020 killing of Floyd, a death that led to a national reckoning over policing and racial injustice and sparked widespread anger after millions of people saw video of the arrest.

Most of the FBI agents fired were from the Washington Field Office.

ABC News confirmed:

Many of the agents worked at the FBI’s Washington Field Office at the time, and they were photographed in early June 2020 kneeling at the protest, the sources said.

At least some of them were reassigned earlier this year, but now as many as 20 agents have been fired, the sources added.

Good riddance!

Keep cleaning house!
