In the wake of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, notorious left-wing writer Stephen King used social media to spread a baseless smear about him.
Shortly after Charlie Kirk’s death was confirmed, Stephen King posted on X, seemingly implying that he deserved it.
King accused Charlie Kirk of advocating for “stoning gays to death” — which, of course, is entirely false.
Exhibit A:
There are a lot of Democrats trying to say the assassination of Charlie Kirk was acceptable because he hated gays.
First off… it is insane to believe you can murder someone for not liking gays.

But, of course, Stephen King didn’t do his homework.
He didn’t back up his smear with any proof or do his research before posting the defamatory statement.

Now, Stephen King is panicking and trying to walk it all back.
This evening, he posted an apology on X.
I apologize for saying Charlie Kirk advocated stoning gays. What he actually demonstrated was how some people cherry-pick Biblical passages.

He did reply to several of the responses he got from prominent figures and admitted he did not do any fact-checking before firing off the post.
