Tonight, a prayer vigil was held for Charlie Kirk in Portage, Michigan.
The Kalamazoo Republican Party had placed an order for some Charlie Kirk tribute posters at a local Office Depot for the event.
However, they were informed by the location’s supervisor that the posters could not be printed.
He said the order was being refused because it was “political propaganda.”
A few of the prayer vigil’s organizers went down to the Office Depot to confront them in-person about it, and this is what happened:
Today at 2:24 PM, the Kalamazoo County Republican Party #KGOP placed an order for a poster of #CharlieKirk for a vigil tonight. At 5:30 "Beryl" the print supervisor (guy on left) called and said they are refusing to print the poster because it is "propaganda." Hey @officedepot… pic.twitter.com/pKHAQ2OQda

You’ve got to be kidding me?
Some posters for a prayer vigil for a 31-year-old husband and father who horrifically lost his life is “political propaganda?”
Shame on Office Depot.
Do better.

Kudos to Fedex for stepping in and printing the posters for free, however.
I know where I will be going if I ever need to get some posters printed.
In response to the incident, which is going viral on social media, Office Depot released a statement.
It looks like at least one the employees who refused to print the posters has been fired.
Good!
