Multiple reports have confirmed that Charlie Kirk has passed away after the fatal shooting at Utah University this afternoon.
President Trump shared a statement on Truth Social:
The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!
The New York Times confirmed:
Andrew Kolvet, Kirk’s spokesman, says Kirk is dead.
This is utterly tragic.
He was just 31 years old and leaves behind his wife, children, and so many others that loved him.
I regret to inform all of you that Charlie Kirk has died
He was assassinated for trying to save American Freedom
