U.S. And Saudi Forces Team Up To Attack Iranian Backed Group

Since the start of the Iran War we have heard many reports of the United States and Israel conducting joint strikes on Iran but now Saudi Arabia is joining in on the fight.

On Tuesday, U.S. and the Saudi Forces teamed up and conducted joint strikes on Iranian backed proxies in Iraq.

In a statement, U.S. CENTCOM revealed the U.S. and Saudi Arabia conducted strikes on over 30 targets linked to IRGC linked terrorists.

U.S. Central Command and the Saudi Arabian Armed Forces conducted precision strikes in Iraq, July 28, against Iran-aligned terrorists that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) directed to attack U.S. forces and Saudi energy infrastructure.

U.S. and Saudi fighter aircraft struck multiple terrorist logistics and weapons sites across eastern Iraq in a strong response to over 30 IRGC-directed aerial drone attacks in the last 72 hours.

The unwarranted attacks against U.S. forces were not successful.

From February through April 2026, there were more than 600 attempted attacks on U.S. citizens and facilities by Iran-aligned terrorist militias in Iraq.

The IRGC and its terrorist proxies must cease these attacks to avoid further U.S. military response.

The move by the United States comes after Iran launched an unsuccessful surprise attack against U.S. forces in Jordan.

Axios covered Iran’s failed attack:

Iran launched multiple ballistic missiles toward a U.S. military base in Jordan on Tuesday in what U.S. Central Command described as an “attempted surprise attack.”
All of the missiles were intercepted, CENTCOM said in a statement.

This marks Iran’s first ballistic missile attack against a U.S. base in the region since President Trump paused strikes against Iran on Friday to give diplomacy another chance.

The attack threatens to unravel the fragile pause and could force Trump to decide whether to resume military action.

Trump told Axios on Monday that the U.S. was in “very deep talks” with Iran but warned that he would return to “very strong military action” if diplomacy failed.
