Kirk died after being shot in the neck while speaking to students at Utah Valley University.

After being shot, Kirk was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he had a pulse but later succumbed to his injuries.

Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was shot on Wednesday at an event in Utah and has been confirmed dead at the age of 31.

Multiple sources confirmed his passing to Just the News.

Kirk was speaking at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.

The university confirmed that police have a suspect in custody. The campus has been closed and classes canceled until further notice.

“A single shot was fired on campus toward a visiting speaker. Police are investigating now, suspect in custody,” the school confirmed in an emergency alert.

“We do know there was a shot fired from the top of the Losee Center,” UVU confirmed in an earlier statement. “Someone appeared to be at the top of that building or somewhere inside. We don’t know if they’ve been apprehended.”
