UPDATE: My Reply To Jonathan Cahn (From Noah)

I’ve been thinking a lot about Jonathan Cahn, Ted Cruz and Tucker Carlson all day today, ever since I brought you this article earlier today, and now I feel like I have to respond a bit more….because I have more to say:

Is Modern Israel The Same As Biblical Israel? Jonathan Cahn Responds!

In case you haven't been following this story, allow me to quickly bring you up to speed.

And allow me to also give this general statement/disclaimer before we get going: I want to make clear I am fully in support of Biblical Israel.  The Bible commands us to do so.  God chose Israel and set it apart quite clearly.  That is not in dispute.  Period.  Full stop.

But the question that is coming up recently, as highlighted in the now infamous Tucker Carlson / Ted Cruz clip, is whether or not the modern Nation-state of Israel is one and the same with the Israel found in the Bible.

In case you haven't been following this issue, you can watch Tucker and Ted duke it out here:

And in my article above, I posted Jonathan Cahn's response to Tucker/Ted and to this topic in general and spoiler alert -- Cahn comes down firmly against Tucker and in favor of Ted, basically saying "of course it's the same Israel!"

And I want to say he might be right.

In fact, he's probably right the more I think about it after watching his whole video.

But the reason I want to respond is because there are a couple things about this whole situation that really rub me the wrong way, and that's what I want to speak to right now.

The first thing that bothers me is this narrative which is strongly pushed by Jonathan Cahn in this video and by others who strongly hold this view, which is basically that this topic is not really up for debate, and if you dare to question it at all you're an "anti-semite".

I'm sorry but I find that personally quite offensive.

There is no other topic out there that I can think of where one whole group of people declares not only are they "right" but no one is even allowed to talk about it and if you dare to even ask a question you get hit with "SHUT UP RACIST!"  Shut up Antisemite!

Something about that just feels wrong and off to me.

It FEELS like you can't win the debate so you just have this nuclear card you play to shut it down, because who wants to be called a racist?

So with all due respect to Jonathan Cahn (and in his case the amount "due" is quite vast), I take issue with the constant overplaying of the "Antisemite" card.

The second thing I would like to respond to is Cahn's phrasing of the issue and complete mockery of the question, resorting to saying things like "Of course they're the same Jews, what did the old ones get beamed up in a Spaceship?  And then did these new ones get beamed down in their place?"

No one is saying that, and mocking it belittles YOUR position, Mr. Cahn.  You're better than that, act like it.  As I've said many times before, I have great respect for Jonathan Cahn and his work and I have promoted him countless times here in the past and will continue to do so in the future, but that kind of rhetoric and behavior is beneath you sir.

Cahn would prefer to suggest that thinking there could be "Fake Jews" is so outlandish that he has to make a mockery of it, but he forgets the idea is not that outlandish at all.

In fact, where did the idea come from?

From the Bible itself, if we're being intellectually honest.

Two times in Revelation, Jesus is speaking and he refers to, and I quote: "...people who say they are Jews, and are not...".

To drive the point home, he then refers to them as belonging to the Synagogue of Satan.

His words, not mine.

Take a look:

Revelation 2:9
"I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan."

Revelation 3:9
"Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee."

I think Jesus is a pretty good standard bearer, don't you?

Would Cahn mock Jesus for these quotes?  Would he ask Jesus about beaming up to a spaceship?  Of course not.  So please don't mock people like Tucker for simply asking a question and trying to find truth.

Those quotes are Jesus speaking in Revelation targeted towards the End Times, which you could make a case we are living in right now.

But even in his day, he encountered these "Fake Jews" and he did NOT have kind words for them.

John 8:44 — Jesus to certain Jewish leaders:

“You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he tells a lie, he speaks from his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of lies.”

Matthew 23:27–28 — Jesus to the scribes and Pharisees:

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs, which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. So you too, outwardly appear righteous to people, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.”

My point?

My point is simply this...

I think Cahn falters when he attacks and mocks people like Tucker who I believe are earnestly and honestly asking questions and trying to understand.

I believe Tucker and most people who ask this question are not looking to dishonor the Jewish people, far from it!  They just want to make sure they're not honoring the people described in Revelation 2:9 and 3:9 and quite frankly I think that's wise and admirable.

And it's not some delusional, anti-semitic idea they've created in their heads, its founded and based in Scripture and I think those people deserve an honest and open dialogue, not mockery and not "Shut Up You Antisemite".

Because when the only response is "Shut you Antisemite" it leads me to question your position, and that's not good.  Because as I've said many times, I like, trust and respect Jonathan Cahn greatly.  And his video response would have been superb if you strip out the "Shut up Racist!" and other mockery and stick to Biblical principles for why he believes modern-day Israel, with it's six-pointed star founded by the Rothschilds, is in fact the exact same as Biblical Israel.

I'll say it one final time, Cahn may be right and he probably is.  And I greatly appreciate him swinging the pendulum back to the center for 90% of that video.  But let's do without the low blows, ok?

"Shut up Racist" was not a winning argument when they used it against Trump for 10+ years and it's not a winning argument when you use it against anyone who dares to even have a question about Israel.

In case you missed it, here was my earlier full report:

Is Modern Israel The Same As Biblical Israel? Jonathan Cahn Responds!

I am so excited to bring you this one...

As you know if you've been around here for a while, this is a big Jonathan Cahn house!  I love all of his work and we feature him often here.

So I was so excited to see him weigh in on the debate about Israel which seems to be building recently.

I've even asked some questions myself in prior articles...

No, I don't believe in "Replacement Theology".

No, I am not turning on Israel.

I have said time and time again that I believe the Bible makes it quite clear that Israel is special, chosen by God, and the Bible does explicitly state that anyone who blesses Israel will be blessed, and anyone who curses Israel will be cursed.  It says it in at least two different spots and is very clear.

But I do think it's fair to ask questions, like Tucker Carlson has done recently.  And the main essence of his questions seem to be similar to some questions I had posed here, which is essentially to ask whether the modern Nation-state of Israel represented by the 6-pointed star is one and the same as Biblical Israel.

I think that's a fair question, and I think as journalists who have been red-pilled Tucker and I tend to operate similarly.

And that's because we've both realized (probably along with millions of you) that we've been lied to about almost everything...

We also know that one of Satan's great tricks (one of his only tricks) is to simply counterfeit what God does.

So I don't think it's unfair or unreasonable to ask the questions Tucker is asking.  Questions which we've also asked here.

Because if Satan counterfeits everything God does, isn't it quite likely he would try to counterfeit Israel?  Create a counterfeit version?  Maybe have an evil family like the Rothschilds do it for you, that would sure be a great way to start, right?  Then remove the Biblical image of the Menorah that God gave to Israel and replace it with what many believe is a demonic 6-pointed star, first taking root in the late 1800s and having no basis in the Bible of any kind?

I think those are all fair questions.

And honestly I think their rooted in a very good place.  We want to do the right thing.  We don't want to be duped.  We don't want to be conned.  We've realized we've been lied to about everything else in life, and so we're skeptical here.

So I don't view Tucker's questions as malicious at all, he's just a journalist searching for truth and wanting to make sure he doesn't get duped along the way.

But now we go to Jonathan Cahn.

Spoiler alert: Cahn doesn't agree with these questions at all, and honestly this is about the most worked up I can remember seeing him in a video.  He did not hold back, and his opinion is unabashedly that Yes, modern Israel is the same as Biblical Israel.

I don't fault anyone for asking questions and wanting to make sure they're doing the right thing, but I also greatly value and appreciate Jonathan Cahn's work and research, so I am really excited to share with you his very strong opinion on this topic.

Perhaps this will settle the debate once and for all?

I have to admit, I really found it very insightful.  Thank you Jonathan!

Please enjoy:

Tucker Carlson & Ted Cruz

Tucker Carlson went on the air with Senator Ted Cruz and attacked him over his support for Israel.

He challenged him with a belief that the Abrahamic covenant still applies to Israel— or it doesn't apply to Israel at all. Let's roll the clip.

Senator Ted Cruz:
"Growing up in Sunday school, I was taught from the Bible, those who bless Israel will be blessed and those who curse Israel will be cursed. And from my perspective, I want to be on the blessing side of things. Those who bless the government of Israel— those who bless Israel is what it says. It doesn't say the government of it. Says the nation of Israel. So that's in the Bible. As a Christian, I believe that."

Tucker Carlson:
"Where is that?"

Senator Ted Cruz:
"I can find it for you. I don't have the scripture off the tip of my—"

Tucker Carlson:
"You pull out the phone and use— it's in Genesis. But so you're quoting a Bible phrase. You don't have context for it. You don't know where in the Bible it is. But that's like your theology. I'm confused. What does that even mean, Tucker? I'm a Christian. I want to know what you're talking about."

Senator Ted Cruz:
"Okay. Where does my support for Israel come from? Number one, because biblically we are commanded to support Israel. But number two—"

Tucker Carlson:
"Hold on."

Senator Ted Cruz:
"No, not hold on. You're a senator and now you're throwing out theology and I am a Christian and I am allowed to weigh in on this. We are commanded as Christians to support the government of Israel. We are commanded to support Israel and we're told those who bless Israel will be blessed."

Tucker Carlson:
"But what? Hold on. Define Israel. This is important."

Senator Ted Cruz:
"Are you kidding? This is a majority Christian country. Define Israel? Do you not know what Israel is? That would be the country you've asked like 49 questions about. So that's what Genesis ref— that's what God is talking about, the nation of Israel."

Tucker Carlson:
"So is that the current borders, the current leadership? He's talking about the political entity called Israel?"

Senator Ted Cruz:
"He's talking about the nation of Israel. Yeah. Nations exist and he is discussing a nation. A nation was the people of Israel."

Tucker Carlson:
"The nation referring to in Genesis— is that the same as the country run by Benjamin Netanyahu right now?"

Senator Ted Cruz:
"Yes. Yes, it is."

He's clearly implying that the modern nation of Israel is not the same or not included in the Abrahamic covenant. That it doesn't apply to that.

So you don't have to bless Israel, therefore, which appears to go along with the worldview that he's been advocating. And increasingly, he's dwelling on Israel and the Jewish people and speaking in terms that tend to be negative.

Now, this is not about Tucker Carlson. It's about something bigger. We got to pray for everybody. But it's seeping into the modern conservative movement. It's attempting to weave its way into the minds of evangelical Christians.

You can't hate Israel if you know that Israel is God's nation and the Abrahamic covenant specifically relates to it. Therefore, you got to break that with a notion that the modern nation of Israel has nothing to do with the Abrahamic covenant and not even the prophecies or purposes of God.

And this goes along with replacement theology. It also goes along with anti-semitism.

Replacement Theology

They'll also say that Israel is made up of unbelievers. So, how can we support them? And the Jews are not the Jews.

Now, not everybody says it, but people say this. The Jews are not the Jews. The Jews of today are not the people of the Bible. And again, the Abrahamic covenant doesn't apply to the modern nation of Israel. Or it doesn't even apply to the Jewish people. Or God is finished with the Jew. Again, they've been replaced.

You can see where this is all heading.

If it keeps going, it's going to seek to stop the support for Israel. Stop blessing Israel. Stop being for Israel.

Whether it's under the banner of replacement theology or anti-Israel ideology or outright anti-semitism.

These arguments have been used by those in these camps, and they circulate on the internet and can confuse sincere Christians.

You see, once you separate Israel from the Abrahamic covenant, or the Jewish people from the Bible, you can do whatever you want with them.

See, that's what Hitler did. You can make them your enemy and still call yourself a Christian. You know whose purpose would that serve? The enemy's purpose. The devil's purpose.

Of course, the idea of "let's stop blessing Israel"— there are not many things the enemy would want to see more than that. That's the ultimate point.

You know what's already happened to the Democratic Party? The Democratic Party has recently, by statistics, become an anti-Israel party.

It's the mission of the enemy to destroy the nation of Israel and all of God's people.

So of course, he's going to go after everything he can to get there. He's already in the left and the woke, but now beware— he's seeking entrance into the conservative movement and into the church because he knows that's where the support for Israel is the strongest.

And if you can take that away, then America can stop supporting Israel, and Israel can be destroyed in his view.

Who are The Jewish People?

The Jewish people or the people of the state of Israel aren't the same people as in the Bible. The other says the Jewish people are the same people, but God is finished with them.

You see, for 2,000 years, they've been persecuting the Jewish people over the fact that the Jewish people are the Jewish people. Now they're going to persecute the Jewish people over the fact that they're not the Jewish people.

Well, shouldn't there be an apology issued first for attacking them for 2,000 years for being the Jewish people when you don't think they are? Then they can work on an apology for attacking them for not being the Jewish people.

But the other faction says they are the Jewish people, but the Abrahamic covenant doesn't apply to them or to Israel as a nation.

So what do all these have in common? Again, they're all trying to break the bond between believers in Jesus, Messiah, and Israel and the Jewish people.

Is The Modern State of Israel Part of The Abrahamic Covenant?

The charge is the modern state of Israel part of the Abrahamic covenant? And if Israel isn't made up of mostly believers, and if we don't always agree with them or their government, we shouldn't bless them.

Here's the problem with that. Israel has existed in the form of a nation or state, a kingdom, a polity in one way or another from ancient times in the Bible.

So if God applied the Abrahamic covenant back then to the nation or state of Israel or Judah, then he certainly applies it to the nation or state of Israel now.

Israel in the days of Solomon wasn't following God, most of the people, but it was still Israel and all God's promises still applied.

Israel in the days of Jeremiah, same thing. Wasn't following God, most of them, but it never stopped being Israel. And the promises didn't stop either.

Israel in the days of Messiah Jesus— Yeshua— was under the Herods, who were ungodly, evil leaders. But it never stopped being Israel. And the promises of God were never revoked.

So, first, it doesn't matter whether they believe or not yet. It doesn't matter what its government is. If one agrees or disagrees with any policy, you don't have to agree with every American government policy, or your own family, or your parents, or your children.

That has nothing to do with it. Every nation is imperfect. You stand with your family, your parents, your children. You bless them, you support them.

And so with Israel, the answer is Israel is Israel.

Even if one believed that the Abrahamic covenant was about the Jewish people as Jewish people, but not as Israel now, it still wouldn't work because the Jewish people live in Israel.

So if someone just says, "Well, it's the Jewish people, not Israel." Well, in fact, with a possible exception of America, more Jewish people live in Israel now than anywhere else in the world.

So, if it applies to the Jewish people, their well-being depends on Israel. It's contained there.

So if you're blessing them, you're blessing Israel. Well, if you're blessing Israel, you're blessing them. There's no way around it.

The Abrahamic covenant applies to blessing or cursing Israel. If you bless Israel or the Jewish people, you're going to be blessed. If you curse Israel or the Jewish people, you're going to be cursed.

Christian Antisemitic Argument

I've heard this made by quote "Christian anti-semites," though those two words really can't go together. It's this: when God told Abraham, "I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you"— which, by the way, is not in Genesis 16, as Tucker Carlson thought. It's in Genesis 12.

He wasn't talking about Israel or the Jewish people at all. He was only talking about Abraham. So it doesn't apply.

You don't have to bless them. You don't have to bless the Jewish people.

Is that true? The short answer is no. It's not true.

First, the context. The context is: I will make of you a great nation. I will bless you and make your name great. You shall be a blessing. In you all will be blessed— the nations.

Well, then it says, I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you. In you, all the families of the earth will be blessed.

God said to Abraham, I will make of you a great nation. The promise is given in that context. A great nation. In you all the families of the earth will be blessed.

That never happened through one person. It happened afterwards. He didn't touch all the families of the earth. His nation did.

It happened in the context only of Israel, the Jewish people. I will make you a great nation. The words can only apply to that.

You can't separate them. If you bless Israel, you're blessed. Curse Israel, you're cursed.

And God repeats that blessing and cursing again and again in different forms to the children of Israel, of Abraham, the Jewish people.

Balaam's Curse

In Numbers, long after Abraham, the nation of Israel coming out of Egypt in the wilderness— the prophet Balaam is hired to curse them as a people, as people are cursing them today.

He's clearly talking about the entire nation, the nation of Israel. There's no other way. It's not just a man, Abraham, but the people of Israel.

And so what he says— listen to what he says. He says, Israel, he says, "Blessed is everyone who blesses you, and cursed is everyone who curses you."

He's talking to Israel right there. The Abrahamic covenant applies to Israel, the Jewish people, the nation of Israel until the end of this world.

And here's the thing. Even if you didn't have those scriptures, the rest of the Bible bears witness to that very thing. It's implicit throughout the Bible.

God in one form or another says it: I'm going to punish those nations that come against you. I'll fight against those who fight against you. I'll destroy those who seek to destroy you. They're going to be judged.

Thus, you curse Israel, you're cursed. It's implicit. You bless Israel, you're going to be blessed.

Ancient World History

Look at world history. And what do you see? The nations or powers or kingdoms of the world that bless Israel are blessed. And those who curse Israel are cursed.

Egypt cursed Israel, tried to destroy it. At the time of the Exodus, what happened? It collapsed. The great empire became a second-rate power.

Assyria wiped out the northern kingdom of Israel. What happened? Assyria was wiped out.

Babylon crushed Israel. Not long afterward, Babylon was crushed.

Persia blessed Israel and was blessed. Then turned against it and fell.

The Spanish Empire, among the greatest of empires, prospered with the Jewish people. But then turned against the Jewish people. What happened? Spain collapsed. The empire became a second-rate power.

The British blessed the Jewish people and they were lifted up to the heights of world power and empire. But then in between the two world wars, they turned against the Jewish people. What happened? The British Empire collapsed and in effect was done.

What nation in the 20th and 21st century has blessed the Jewish people and Israel more than any other? America.

And what nation has become the most blessed and powerful nation on earth? America.

It's no accident. It's God's word. The Abrahamic covenant. It's a law. It's like gravity. You can argue against it. You can oppose it. You can jump off a cliff. But gravity is going to have the last word.

So the Abrahamic covenant— people can say what they want, oppose it, but it's going to have the last word. Just ask the mighty empires of the past.

And it's not only for empires, it's for people. Bless Israel, you're going to be blessed. Curse Israel, you're going to be cursed.

I've never met a person who cursed Israel, the Jewish people, hated them, and wasn't cursed. I've never met a person who blessed Israel and the Jewish people and wasn't in some way blessed.

Bless for your own sake. And by the way, for America's sake. If America stops blessing Israel, I wouldn't be worried about Israel. I'd be concerned about America.

Are The Jews of Today, The Jews of the Bible?

The blessings don't apply. In fact, we don't have to bless them. We can even hate them. This is used by anti-semites and by those who don't know any better.

Some use what's called the Khazar theory. That's that a people called the Khazars, Turkish people, converted to Judaism in the Middle Ages and basically became those today we know as the Jews.

So the Jews of today, in other words, aren't the Jews of the Bible.

Well, first, the Khazar theory has been totally debunked. What has been claimed to have happened never happened. There may have been some individuals who converted, but nothing like that legend happened or had any substance.

On top of that, recent genetic studies have totally disproven it. There was no measurable descent of the Jewish people that comes from the Khazars.

And so if the Jewish people are not the Jewish people, then the question has to be asked: then who actually are the Jewish people? Or where are the true Jewish people?

If so, if you have imposters walking around, then where are the real ones? And wouldn't they sue for identity theft?

Where are the real Jewish people? Are they in hiding? Were they put on a witness protection program? Did they get beamed up into a spaceship?

Where are they? There were millions of them in the world in ancient times. Where did they all go? Nowhere. Apart from where the Jewish people are today.

If the Jewish people weren't the Jewish people, the Jewish people would have to be somewhere else. And they're nowhere else.

And they don't exist except in the heads of these anti-Israel or radical or anti-semitic people.

This accusation also begs the question: then what about the people today who are known as the Jewish people?

The claim is they're not really the Jewish people. Well, if the Jewish people are not the Jewish people, then who are they?

Not just then who are the Jewish people— they're not there. But who are they? And where'd they come from?

While the other Jews were beamed up aboard the spaceship, where did all these other ones beam down from a spaceship to replace them?

And when did it all happen? When did the fake Jews come to the earth? When the real Jews weren't looking?

Did the fake Jews lock the real Jews in a closet, put on yarmulkes, take their place? And who are they? Because they had to have come from somewhere.

We don't have any other ancient people numbering in the millions who suddenly disappeared to become the Jews so they could turn up as that.

You see, you need a lot of disappearing acts and a lot of appearing acts. A lot of magic tricks to make it happen.

And that begs another question. For the last 2,000 years, the Jewish people have been persecuted as no other people have ever been persecuted. Driven from nation to nation, wandering the earth, hated, oppressed, slaughtered.

Who in their right mind would seek to pretend to be Jewish if they weren't Jewish? So they can wander the earth and be persecuted and expelled and ravaged and massacred in one nation after the other?

No people would.

And guess what? It just happens to turn out by coincidence that these Jewish people who are the Jewish people now just happen to be the ones on earth who have Jewish traditions that go back to ancient Israel, Jewish blessings and prayers from ancient Israel, Jewish holidays from ancient Israel, Jewish language from ancient Israel.

On top of that, there's a definite history that traces their root.

Like when you have a package to your house and you've got a tracking system. You know where the package is, when it left the warehouse, where it is, and when it comes to your door. It's the same package.

Well, we've got the tracking on the Jewish people from ancient times to now. When they left the land, where they went on their route, and when they came back to Israel.

No, the Jewish people are actually the Jewish people. The same as in the Bible.

In fact, genetic technology has also proven it. The Jewish people's DNA goes back to the Middle East. It's actually closest to people who live in or around the land of Israel. Which is exactly what you'd expect if the Jewish people were in fact the Jewish people, which they are.

They even have DNA markers. The Jewish people have DNA markers, some of which have priestly markers for those who have the priestly line of Aaron that links them back to one man about 3,000 years ago— Aaron, the brother of Moses.

I'm one of those people. They can trace their history all the way back to Israel. Same culture, same language, same DNA.

Look, if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, swims like a duck, flies like a duck, it's a duck.

In this case, the duck is Jewish. In other words, the Jewish people are the Jewish people.

Modern Day of Israel

Now, the last charge. It's made not only by anti-semites, anti-Israel factions as well, but even by those of replacement theology. And I'm not saying that they're anti-semites.

It says this: the modern-day nation of Israel might be made up of Jewish people, but it has nothing to do with God or God's plan or prophecy or anything else.

In other words, the modern nation of Israel just happened to happen. It happened because of Jewish people who weren't believers. They just did it and there it is. They made this nation. Has nothing to do with God.

Well, you can— and you know how you can spot this argument often, at least in replacement theology? It's that they made up a new term.

When somebody starts talking about "national Israel"— national— it's a made-up, artificial word to support this theory.

If Israel is national Israel, then what is un-national Israel? The answer is— there's no such thing.

Israel is defined in the Bible as a nation. To say national Israel as if there's some other Israel makes no sense.

It comes up with an attempt to somehow separate Israel from being Israel by calling it "national."

It'd be like saying I don't have to pledge allegiance to America because America is not really America. It's only national America.

The truth is, Israel is a nation. There's no un-national Israel.

Whether we're speaking of physical Israel or spiritual Israel, it doesn't matter.

The argument has been: the Jewish people who came back to Israel weren't believers. Therefore, it disqualifies them from being Israel.

Well, the majority of Israel has been made up of unbelievers for 2,000 years. And by the way, so has the majority of most nations.

The fact is, the majority of the British may not be believers. Does it mean they're not British? Or the Italians? Are they not Italians?

But no one says that. Only with Israel.

Whether the majority of Israel are believers or not, it has nothing to do with their being Israel.

Whether your son or daughter is a believer has nothing to do with the fact that they're your son and daughter.

So belief or unbelief doesn't change the fact that they're Israel.

Apostle Paul & Bible Prophecies

In fact, for most of the time you read about Israel in the word of God, the Bible, they weren't majority true believers or true followers. But they were Israel.

Paul speaks of his unbelieving brothers and sisters, fellow Jewish people, as Israel. He says, "All Israel shall be saved in the end."

Well, if all Israel is going to be saved, then all Israel that is not yet saved has to still be Israel.

Further, the scriptures prophesy that Israel, the Jewish people, will come back to their land and then they will come back to God.

So to argue that Israel has come back to the land largely in unbelief somehow nullifies the fact that it's Israel is crazy, because it actually goes against what the Bible says.

The Bible says they're going to come back first largely in unbelief, and then they're going to come to God. They're going to come to Messiah.

See, to try to separate the nation of Israel in the Middle East from Israel itself also goes against the word of God because the Bible says that God is in charge of that land.

And so he's in charge of those who are dwelling there, and those who leave when they leave, and when they return.

In the Bible, it's only God who brings Israel back to the land to become a nation.

The state of Israel— first it was God who brought them out of Egypt and brought them to the land, right? Nobody else.

The second time, when they were in exile in Babylon, it was God. It was prophesied. It was God who did it. God alone who caused them to come back and become a nation.

So, what about the third time, which is Israel right now?

Israel's Return to The Land

This return— listen— was prophesied by God more than any other return or coming to the land, including the Exodus itself from Egypt.

God says in Jeremiah 16:
"Therefore, behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when it will no longer be said, as the Lord lives, who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt. But as the Lord lives, who brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north (that would be Europe, Russia, all that), and from all the lands where he banished them. For I will restore them to their own land that I gave to their fathers."

And listen to this. This is what God says. Jeremiah 31:
"This is what the Lord says: Sing aloud with joy for Jacob. Be joyful with the chief of nations. Proclaim, give praise, and say, 'Lord, save your people, the remnant of Israel.' Behold, I am bringing them from the north country, and I will gather them from the remote parts of the earth, the ends of the earth. Among them are the blind and the lame, and the pregnant woman, and the one who's in labor together. They will return here in a great assembly from the ends of the earth."

Isaiah:
"Do not fear, for I am with you, says the Lord. I will bring you Israel from the east and gather you from the west. I'll say to the north, give them up; to the south, do not hold them back. Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth."

The prophecies are crystal clear. They will come back once more from the ends of the earth. God is the one who is doing it.

It says only once was Israel scattered to the ends of the earth— the Jewish people. That’s now. And it has manifested in world history exactly as God said in our own generation.

Only once were they gathered from the ends of the earth back to the land of Israel. And it has happened. It has happened now with the return of Israel according to the prophecies of the word of God.

So not only can it only be God who brings them back to the land of Israel, but this coming back by the hand of God was prophesied more than any other coming back in scripture.

And it’s even more than that because God prophesied from the beginning that the Jewish people would be scattered to the nations, wander the earth. And just about every Christian commentator who seeks to challenge the return of the people to the land will go along with that part of it— okay, he scattered them.

But then they’ll deny the rest of it— that he will gather them back. He has gathered them to the land. You can’t have one without the other. Unless you’re trying to do violence to the Bible or the word of God, the prophecy doesn’t stop.

The prophecy said God will scatter the children of Israel from Israel the land. And then it says the same God will gather the same people back from the nations to the same land.

You cannot have it both ways. You can’t have your cake and eat it. If God scattered the Jewish people from Israel to the nations, then God is the one who gathered them back from the nations to Israel.

And the scripture says it over and over again. He will scatter them and gather them.

This is what God himself says:
"Hear the word of the Lord, you nations, declare it in the coastlands far off and say, 'He who scattered Israel will gather him. He will keep Israel as a shepherd keeps his flock.'"

What is it saying? It is clearly saying that God who scatters the Jewish people is going to gather them back to the land of Israel. Same God. In fact, it says God who scatters them is going to gather them. Same people.

So whoever gathered back to the land of Israel is the same who God scattered and the same that God said he was going to gather them back. Same prophecy, same Israel, same people, same promise, same land.

This is the word of God.

Now compare the overwhelmingly clear voice and weight and biblical word and prophecy with the idea that these people just did it on their own and it had nothing to do with God. Even though God said he’d do it and it happened just the way he said he was going to do it.

But you’re saying that it wasn’t God. So when God wasn’t looking, he was distracted, he was looking the other way, these people just came in and fulfilled his word without him knowing it. They sneaked in the fulfillment of his word.

Was he on lunch break? On a Zoom call? What was that?

These people fulfilled the prophecy of what he said he was going to do when he wasn’t looking. And he looked back and he said, “Whoa, whoa, these people just sneaked in. They just came in and what’s going on here? They fulfilled the prophecy.”

Except they weren’t another people. They were the exact people that God said he was going to bring back to the very place, that very way.

And he didn’t leave any gaps. He didn’t leave any loophole that you can sneak in before it happens, before God brings them back. There’s no loophole that you can come back for a pre-return. Doesn’t happen.

Sounds ridiculous because it is ridiculous. It’s anti-biblical. God will scatter them to the ends of the earth. In the last days, God will gather them back from the ends of the earth.

And here’s the thing. To all of you who truly love the Lord, who love Messiah, love Jesus— Yeshua. He said to the Jewish people in Jerusalem, “You’ll only see me again when you say, ‘Baruch haba b’shem Adonai, blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’”

So the Jewish people have to be back in the land of Israel. They have to be back in their holy city, Jerusalem, 1967.

They have to come back while they are not yet believing, so they can come to believe. And even, you could say, speak Hebrew so they can say, “Blessed is he.”

So all those who love Messiah and love his appearing, don’t get caught up with such unbiblical things. Don’t get poisoned. Don’t get influenced away from God.

But rejoice in the return of Israel into the world.

The Bible says he’s going to bring all nations against Israel. But we— we are not to be part of that. The people of God must not be part of that satanic end-time phenomenon.

But we are to stand with Israel. Whether you agree or not doesn’t matter. Stand with Israel. Pray for Israel. Rejoice with Israel. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

“They will prosper who love you.”

As Paul said— Paul, the Apostle Paul said, “I could almost wish I was accursed from God if it could mean the redemption, the salvation of my people.” That’s the heart of Paul. He didn’t condemn them. He wept for them.

And we’re to be like Messiah, like Jesus. To share his heart, his burden, and his love for his ancient people.

“Comfort my people. Speak kindly to Jerusalem. Pray for that peace. They will prosper who love you.”

And God says, I will bless you— you who bless them— and curse those who curse them.

Choose to be blessed, not to be cursed.
