Former Attorney General Bill Barr Testifies in Epstein Case — Here’s What He Said

Disgraced former Attorney General Bill Barr spent his afternoon on Capitol Hill today, testifying in the House Oversight Committee’s Epstein probe.

His testimony marks the first person to testify under subpoena in the investigation.

It was all done behind closed doors, so we don’t get to see or hear for ourselves what Bill Barr said, which is very disappointing.

However, House Oversight Chair James Comer revealed many details from Barr’s deposition.

Notably, Barr testified that he never saw any information that would “implicate” President Trump related to Jeffrey Epstein.

From Fox News:

“He said that he had never seen anything that would implicate President Trump in any of this, and that he believed if there had been anything pertaining to President Trump with respect to the Epstein list, that he felt like the Biden administration would probably have leaked it out,” Comer told reporters partway through Barr’s testimony.

The ex-Trump administration official is the first person to appear in the House Oversight Committee’s probe into the federal government’s handling of Epstein’s case.

Like others subpoenaed to testify after him, Barr’s deposition is being conducted behind closed doors.

Comer said Barr told investigators that he “didn’t know anything about a client list,” and did not have conversations with Trump about such a list.

“Barr said he’s never seen any information that showed that he was in the files, and that he would be shocked if there was anything pertaining to President Trump that was negative that the Biden administration wouldn’t have leaked out prior to the presidential election,” Comer said.

Rep. Comer also said that Bill Barr provided new details about Epstein’s death.

The New York Post reported:

Former Attorney General Bill Barr shared “new” details about the sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein — and his death in federal custody before heading to trial — during a deposition with the House Oversight Committee on Monday, according to the panel’s chairman.

Oversight Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) divulged to reporters that Barr’s testimony to House lawmakers and committee staff had revealed “a lot” on the odd circumstances surrounding Epstein’s federal prosecution and suicide.

“We asked a lot of questions about the, you know, the suicide,” Comer said, noting the “general consensus” among Barr, FBI Director Kash Patel, independent medical experts and federal investigations is that the disgraced financier took his own life in a Manhattan lockup on Aug. 10, 2019.

The Oversight chairman added that he personally had “no idea” whether Epstein, 66, killed himself.

“There were blind spots in the in the cameras,” Comer said. “It’s unfortunate … there weren’t people in there watching because this is such a high-profile case. … I’m very disappointed in the security.

“We’ve learned some new things pertaining to different aspects of it, but we’ve got a lot of people to depose, and we’ll release all the transcripts once we get through,” he added.

Of course, Bill Barr was head of the DOJ at the time of Epstein’s “suicide” in 2019.

But, Bill Barr’s link to Jeffrey Epstein runs deeper than that…

His father, Donald Barr, was headmaster at the prestigious NYC school where Jeffrey Epstein worked despite not being qualified for the position.

Donald Barr also authored a bizarre sick (and not very popular) sci-fi novel about a sex slave ring in space where aristocratic men abuse teenage girls…

This video on X broke down the disturbing connection between Epstein and Barr:

Grok confirmed:

Donald Barr, the father of former U.S. Attorney General William “Bill” Barr, is linked to Jeffrey Epstein through his role as headmaster of the Dalton School in New York City. In 1974, Donald Barr allegedly hired Epstein, then a 21-year-old college dropout, to teach math and physics at the prestigious private school, despite Epstein lacking a college degree. Barr was known for unconventional hiring practices, prioritizing talent over formal credentials. However, there is some uncertainty about whether Barr directly hired Epstein, as Barr resigned from his position as headmaster in February 1974 due to disagreements with the school’s board, and Epstein began teaching in September 1974, after Barr’s departure. Some sources suggest the hiring decision may have been made by Barr’s successor or another Dalton employee, though former staff accounts point to Barr as the likely decision-maker.
Epstein taught at Dalton from 1974 to 1976, where he reportedly displayed inappropriate behavior, including socializing with students outside class, attending student parties, and paying particular attention to female students, which raised concerns among some students and alumni. After leaving Dalton, Epstein transitioned to a finance career, facilitated by a connection with a Dalton parent, Alan Greenberg, who hired him at Bear Stearns.
Additionally, Donald Barr wrote a science fiction novel, Space Relations: A Slightly Gothic Interplanetary Tale, published in 1973, which has drawn attention due to its disturbing themes of sexual slavery and exploitation of minors. Some conspiracy theorists have speculated that the novel’s content parallels Epstein’s later crimes, but there is no evidence linking the book’s themes directly to Epstein or suggesting it was inspired by him. The timing of Epstein’s hiring (three months after Barr’s resignation) and the novel’s publication have fueled speculation, though any connection remains speculative and unproven.

Very suspicious…just like the fact that Bill Barr’s testimony was shielded from public view behind closed-doors.

Many other key figures — including Bill and Hillary Clinton — are lined up to testify.

Will we also not get to see or hear from them, directly?

Why can’t we have total transparency in this investigation?

Barr’s testimony also comes as the DOJ has agreed to release the Epstein files as part of the House Oversight Committee’s probe.
