THE NUMBERS ARE IN: Here’s How Many Arrests Have Been Made Since D.C. Crime Crackdown Began

Leave it to President Trump to restore our nation’s capital to its former glory in record time!

Whereas Congress might see a problem and debate about it for years while crime continues to spiral out of control, President Trump bypasses all that and actually gets things done.

About a week ago, President Trump federalized the police force and sent in federal law enforcement to clean up the streets.

And, just like that, D.C. is immediately safer.

Ever since President Trump started cracking down on the rampant crime and violence in D.C., over 240 arrests have been made.

In addition, more than 38 illegal firearms have been seized and 70 homeless encampments have been taken down.

Stephen Miller addressed the numbers on Fox News:

Many criminals were arrested on charges related to robbery, assaulting law enforcement, and drugs.

Just in the past day, 52 of these arrests were made.

FBI Director Kash Patel announced:

FBI numbers from August 15-16, as of early this morning:

-52 arrests total from federal partners

In addition, some of the arrests made were illegal immigrants.

Fox 5 DC has more details:

A White House official has today revealed that more than 240 arrests have been made in the district since President Donald Trump’s federal takeover began.

This initiative, which is in compliance with the President’s March Executive Order, saw 52 arrests during Friday night’s operations. In total, 38 firearms have been seized since the initiative began August 7. This is more than double the more than 120 arrests reported by FBI Director Kash Patel just a few days ago.

Among the 52 people taken into custody, 28 were defined as migrants, according to a White House official. Three illegal firearms were also seized during the night’s operations. The arrests included charges for armed robbery, possession with intent to distribute and outstanding warrants for grand larceny.

In addition to the arrests, 25 homeless encampments were removed during Friday’s reporting period. Officials noted that teams reported no negative confrontations and did not make any arrests during the removals.

Now, that’s what I’m talking about!

And, the D.C. crime crackdown shows no signs of slowing down. This is just the beginning.

In fact, President Trump is reportedly riding around in D.C. tonight to see the progress first-hand:

Make D.C. great again!
