President Trump Urges Fed Board To Take Power Away From Powell

Jerome Powell.

Everyone’s favorite bankster, I mean chair of the Federal Reserve.

With an estimated net worth of $15-$55 million, he’s the down to earth guy we can all relate too.

When you think about it, he’s just like you and me. Working hard to make ends meet.

The only small difference is, he makes his multi million dollars by keeping his foot on the neck of the average American, forcing their heads underwater financially has he refuses to adjust the rates, among other things.

Well, President Trump isn’t too happy with Jerome’s “I want to destroy America financially!” business model.

I guess that’s fair.

Can’t really “Make America Great Again” if you’ve got an organization that is actively working to wipe it out.

Trump’s idea? Switch him out.

President Trump fumed at Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell on Friday morning, urging the central bank board to wrest control from him after he opted again to not lower interest rates this week.

The president was referring to a vote by the Fed on Wednesday that kept short-term interest rates at a level of 4.25 percent to 4.5 percent but included the first double dissent from Fed board officials in more than 30 years.

Vice Chair of Supervision Michelle Bowman and board Gov. Christopher Waller — who are both in the running for Trump’s nomination to replace Powell when his term is up in May — voted against maintaining the current interest rates.

After 32 years, we see some on the board go against their leader.
