Hulk Hogan Dead At Age 71


Sad news to report…

Hulk Hogan, an absolute legend, has died at age 71.

Here’s a quick summary of all we know so far:

  • Earlier in June, radio host Bubba the Love Sponge caused panic by claiming Hulk Hogan was on his deathbed. Hogan’s rep denied this, saying he was recovering from neck/back procedures.

  • Hogan has faced serious health issues over the past decade, undergoing 25+ surgeries, mainly on his back and neck.

  • In recent days, TMZ and other outlets reported Hogan suffered cardiac arrest at his Florida home on July 24, and EMTs rushed him to the hospital.

  • Multiple media outlets now report Hogan has passed away at age 71, allegedly due to cardiac arrest.

  • He was reportedly found at his Clearwater, Florida home and taken out on a stretcher before being pronounced dead.

  • Cause of death is preliminarily listed as cardiac arrest; official confirmation and autopsy results are still pending.

  • This comes weeks after a prior false alarm, when Hogan’s wife and reps assured fans his heart was strong and he was not in a coma.

  • Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea (August 11, 1953), was a two-time WWE Hall of Famer and a pioneer who made wrestling mainstream.

Hulk Hogan, one of the most popular professional wrestlers of all-time who helped make WWE a juggernaut, has died, according to TMZ.

He was 71.

A “cardiac arrest” call was placed and medics were sent to Hogan’s home in Clearwater, Fla, TMZ reports.

He was stretchered into an ambulance.
