Iran Hits Strategic Target in Hypersonic Strike as Conflict Escalates

Israel and Iran have engaged in multiple waves of attacks over the last 2 days, with no end in sight.

Just a short time ago, Iran targeted a key strategic energy site — the oil refinery in Haifa — along with residential areas of the Israeli city.

Multiple impacts have been reported, and the refinery appears to be burning at this moment.

Here is one of the most stunning videos I’ve seen of the most recent Iranian missile salvo, hitting targets in Haifa — and allegedly scoring direct hits on the oil refinery:

That impact has been identified by one source as a Fattah-1 hypersonic missile.

Here’s another crazy video of that impact, streaking through the sky and leaving the “normal” ballistic missiles nearly standing still by comparison:

Here is the full screen version of that video:

Here’s another video from a balcony security camera purportedly capturing hypersonic impacts in Haifa as well:

This surreal footage shows the initial wave of ballistic missiles as they rain down over Haifa from a different angle:

Here’s the full screen version of that for convenience:

The Haifa oil refinery is reported to be on fire following the strikes:

At the moment there is no official word that the Haifa refinery has been hit, though reporting seems to indicate that is the case.

The impacts were confirmed to be in the region of Haifa, as reported by the New York Post:

At least three Israelis were killed and 14 civilians wounded Saturday night as Iran launched a second night of missiles, officials said.

Iran struck the Haifa region in the north of Israel – home to the country’s largest oil refinery, in the latest strike.

Hours after Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu vowed to bring the full force of the air force down on Tehran during a fiery address, sirens could be heard in the north of Israel, as Iran fire a “heavy and destructive” ballistic missile attack.

The barrage prompted millions of Israelis to run for shelter – with the country’s defense forces ordering civilians to remain close to bomb shelters.

The missiles were seen as they passed over the Jerusalem skyline, but there were no impacts reported in Jerusalem.

Here’s a report from Sky News that caught the missiles and interceptors above Jerusalem during the attack on Haifa:

As you heard in that clip, the Israeli Defense Minister has said that “Tehran will burn”.

I believe there has been a shift in the Israeli willingness to go ALL IN against Iran — and that’s really saying something considering how far they’ve been willing to go already.

More on that soon, as I believe there has also been a shift in President Trump’s mind on how he intends to deal with the situation; and how willing HE may be in involving the U.S. in the conflict.

I hope to bring you that information soon.

Immediately following the Iranian attack on Haifa, Israel responded.

It is highly unlikely that the targeting of Iranian refineries on the heels of the Haifa strike was coincidence:

Here’s the full screen version of that video, purportedly showing one of the refineries that services one of the largest oil fields in the world, the refinery located inside Tehran:

No media is reporting confidently that the refinery in Haifa was struck in the attack on Haifa.

But from the reports I am seeing, and peripheral reporting, it does appear likely that the raw information spreading on social media is accurate, and the refinery is on fire.

The Times Now News said it likewise couldn’t confirm the attack on the Israeli refinery:

Following Iran’s recent attack, first responders are currently addressing reports of missile impacts in the Haifa region in Israel.

Reports are emerging that several ballistic missile strikes hit an oil refinery in Haifa.

Official confirmation is pending at this point. Times Now cannot independently confirm whether the missile strikes targeted the Haifa Oil Refinery.

Check out this incredible footage captures from yet another angle as the first missiles came in over Haifa not long ago:

And the sky over Haifa turned absolutely apocalyptic as the incoming missiles either found their targets…

Or were met by the interceptors thrown up by Israel at the last moment:

As this situation develops, the possibility for a terrible escalation grows.

There are already reports that Iran is considering it’s options, including changing the status quo on the Strait of Hormuz, according to this report from the Reuters news agency:

Israel’s military said on Saturday that more missiles were launched from Iran towards Israel, and it was working to intercept them. It also said it was attacking military targets in Tehran. Iranian state television said Iran had launched missiles and drones at Israel.

Several projectiles were visible in the night sky over Jerusalem late on Saturday. Air raid sirens did not sound in the city, but were heard in the northern Israeli city of Haifa.

An Iranian general, Esmail Kosari, said on Saturday that Tehran was reviewing whether to close the Strait of Hormuz controlling access to the Gulf for tankers.

I’ll be bringing you more on that situation as it develops.

But I am hearing more and more talk that Iran may be considering shutting down the strait — or, at least trying to.

That would be a red line for President Trump if ever there was one.

But honestly, just judging by the change in tone that is happening on all sides, it seems as though we’re seeing a shift already that may dictate how far this conflict goes.

We’ll keep you up-to-date as this situation develops.
