Missouri doesn’t want a repeat of California.
Ahead of planned nationwide ‘protests’ this weekend, Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe has proactively declared a state of emergency and deployed the National Guard.
Gov. Kehoe announced:
While other states may wait for chaos to ensue, the State of Missouri is taking a proactive approach in the event that assistance is needed to support local law enforcement in protecting our citizens and communities.

Missouri AG Andrew Bailey praised the Governor’s decision:
We will not allow what is going on in LA to happen in Missouri.
Thank you @GovMikeKehoe for taking preemptive measures to ensure the lawlessness we’ve seen across our country does not reach our state.

A press release from Gov. Kehoe’s website reads:
This week, the Missouri Department of Public Safety, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and Missouri National Guard established a Unified Command to monitor situations on the ground and prepare to assist local law enforcement.
Executive Order 25-25 declares that a State of Emergency exists in the State of Missouri due to civil unrest and calls on the Adjutant General, or his designee, to call and order into active service such portions of the National Guard personnel as he deems necessary to aid executive officials of Missouri to protect life and property.
Missouri’s actions come in response to the leftist ‘No Kings’ protests that have been planned across the country for this Saturday — which coincides with President Trump’s birthday and the military’s big D.C. parade.
The No Kings website reads:
On June 14—Flag Day—President Trump wants tanks in the street and a made-for-TV display of dominance for his birthday. A spectacle meant to look like strength. But real power isn’t staged in Washington. It rises up everywhere else.
No Kings is a nationwide day of defiance. From city blocks to small towns, from courthouse steps to community parks, we’re taking action to reject authoritarianism—and show the world what democracy really looks like.
We’re not gathering to feed his ego. We’re building a movement that leaves him behind.
The flag doesn’t belong to President Trump. It belongs to us. We’re not watching history happen. We’re making it.
ADVERTISEMENTOn June 14th, we’re showing up everywhere he isn’t—to say no thrones, no crowns, no kings.
The media will assure you that leftists are just planning ‘peaceful protests’ across the nation this weekend, but we’ve seen this playbook before.
After what happened this past week in Los Angeles, Gov. Kehoe is wise to take steps to prevent violence and chaos in his cities.
What do you think?
Should more states follow suit?
