Iran has apparently initiated a response to Israel’s multi-pronged attack on it’s nuclear facilities.
Missiles are currently being seen over areas of Israel, including Tel Aviv.
Some intercepts are happening — some of the video clearly shows the classic scene of Iron Dome intercepts in the night sky over Israeli cities.
But there are reports of explosions on the ground, and I just heard a report on live radio that I’m hoping to confirm during this report that said several dozen impacts have happened in the Tel Aviv area.
(Note: I am presuming that statement to be true, as video I included in this report shows impacts happening across Tel Aviv.)
Here is some of the video coming in of the impacts:

I’d imagine there’s going to be a hell of a response from Israel. pic.twitter.com/0OUhwBfJMC

Trey Yingst of Fox News caught this live launch of interceptors while filming a short time ago:

You can clearly see in that video that some impacts did occur, presumably slipping past the Iron Dome system.
Reports just coming in quoting an anonymous U.S. official says the U.S. military is involved in attempts to shoot down the incoming missiles, according to Axios:
Iran launched a counterattack against Israel on Friday, firing around 150 missiles in the first two barrages with a third wave now incoming, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
This is the most significant Iranian retaliation thus far. It comes 18 hours after Israel launched a war against Iran, attacking its nuclear facilities and missile sites and killing dozens of top military leaders and nuclear scientists.
The U.S. is helping to intercept incoming ballistic missiles, according to an Israeli official and a senior U.S. official.
ADVERTISEMENTMultiple Iranian missiles hit central Tel Aviv according to eye witnesses and videos shared online.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said Iran had “crossed red lines when it dared to fire missiles at civilian population centers in Israel.”
“We will continue to protect the citizens of Israel and ensure that the ayatollah regime pays a very heavy price for its criminal actions,” he said.
The U.S. official who confirmed U.S. air defense systems had engaged said the U.S. was working to protect U.S. citizens and assets in Israel. (Emphasis added.)
CNN’s Scott Jennings posted this a short time ago from his hotel room overlooking the Sea of Galilee:
Just recorded this over my hotel on Sea of Galilee in Israel – and then a minute later heard a BOOM. this is looking south. Hearing booms in distance. Iran missile attacks I presume. pic.twitter.com/FuJkyvmzUZ

Jennings also shared this screenshot showing the current missile alerts going on across Israel as missiles fly in from Iran:

I have also heard reports on live news radio out of Tel Aviv that the barrage has been so immense that Israel is being forced to confront some of the incoming projectiles from sea-based platforms, as opposed to the land-based Iron Dome system.
Iran stated a short time ago that they had launched “hundreds” of missiles according to CNN:
The Israeli military has warned that “all of Israel is under fire” after Tehran launched retaliatory strikes on Friday, following Israel’s attacks on Iranian military and nuclear targets.
Iran confirmed Friday evening local time that it had fired “hundreds of various ballistic missiles” towards Israel, in what it called the “beginning” of its “crushing response.”
“Moments ago, with the launch of hundreds of various ballistic missiles toward the occupied territories, the operation of decisive response to the savage attack of the Zionist regime has begun,” Iran’s official news agency, IRNA, reported.
CNN’s teams in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem could hear large explosions, and video from Tel Aviv showed incoming rockets and smoke rising amid the city’s skyscrapers.
Effie Defrin, spokesperson for the IDF, was answering questions from journalists when an announcement was played over a speakerphone. The broadcast of the briefing was then cut short.
Defense systems are operating to intercept the missiles, a statement from the Israel Defense Forces read. It has instructed the public to seek shelter.
Charlie Kirk is sharing video from the Tel Aviv skyline, showing an incredible view of the incoming missiles along with attempts by the Israeli military to intercept them:
JUST IN — Reports indicate Iran has fired off around 100 ballistic missiles into Israel and that that 5-7 made it through Israel’s layered missile defense system. Minimal, possibly zero casualties reported. pic.twitter.com/jpUp5XBQsR

Israeli authorities are warning its citizens to remain close to protected areas in the case of last-minute warnings.
I have just heard during a live Fox News video report that Iran is reportedly stating that a “third wave” of missiles are currently in the air, en route to Israeli targets.
And a short time ago, Israeli military officials said “dozens” of missiles are being tracked, as just reported by Newsweek:
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said Friday that missiles have been launched from Iran in retaliation after Israel’s strikes.
“A short while ago, the IDF identified missiles launched from Iran toward the territory of the State of Israel,” the IDF said in a statement. “Defense systems are operating to intercept the threat. The public is instructed to enter a protected space and remain there until further notice. Leaving the protected space is only permitted following an explicit directive. Continue to follow the instructions of the Home Front Command.”
Shortly afterward, an Israeli military official said that “dozens of Iranian ballistic missiles are en route to Israel” in a statement shared with Newsweek, adding that “the people of Israel have been instructed to remain in bomb shelters until further notice.”
The notices came shortly after a press conference overseen by IDF spokesperson Brigadier General Effie Defrin was abruptly cut off due to what one Israeli official said was “an incoming Iranian attack on central Israel.”
Footage has since emerged of large plumes of smoke rising from the heart of Israel’s major city of Tel Aviv.
Here is another video that just came out of Tel Aviv, showing multiple impacts happening as missiles slip through:

Nick Sortor shared this video from Fox News showing buildings on fire from missile impacts in Israel:

This is a developing story, and more missiles are currently being reported by both Israel and Iran to be in the air.
We will continue to keep you updated as more information comes in.
