Heartbreaking Health Update For 13-Year-Old Honorary Secret Service Agent DJ Daniel

We have some heartbreaking news to report today.

DJ Daniel — the 13-year old cancer survivor whom President Trump made an honorary Secret Service member — has just been diagnosed with several new tumors.

This is a truly sad health update for the young man who captivated the hearts of so many of us, including President Trump.

But, DJ truly possesses a strong and fearless spirit, and the Lord is stronger than any cancer.

DJ Daniel’s father, Theodis, revealed his son’s new diagnosis to Fox 7 Austin:

Unfortunately, on the medical side, there are still unknowns.

“Just winging it day by day. He does have three new tumors,” Theodis said. “It’s rough, there isn’t a class that can teach you how to deal with it. You’re hearing that your child has a nasty disease.”

The family is grateful for all the support.

“We’re just going around showing people, hey, you do care for one another. Let’s give compassion and let’s try to join and help each other get through things,” Theodis said.

His health update comes after DJ Daniel was sworn in as an honorary member of many law enforcement agencies.

His father spoke after Daniel became an honorary member of multiple law enforcement agencies in Williamson County, Texas.

The sheriff’s office in the county was his 1,351st swearing in, with his journey leading him to be sworn in across six other countries.

Theodis added: ‘Look at him, he’s happy, vibrant. I never know what’s going to come out of his mouth. It makes me nervous half the time, because he has jokes.’

Last week, DJ’s father announced his son had three new tumors, however, the news isn’t stopping DJ.

“If somebody makes me have a bad day, I’m still gonna have a good day. I don’t care,” DJ said in his most recent post on Instagram.
