Watch: Hunter Biden Reveals How Laura Loomer Got His Secret Service Detail Canceled

For someone who contributed so much depravity to his father’s already corrupt administration, many Americans never quite understood why Hunter Biden received Secret Service protection at all.

And in a recent podcast interview, he revealed that he doesn’t have such a security detail anymore.

As The Hill reported, Biden cited the work of one right-wing influencer as the deciding factor:

On July 7, Biden appeared on the podcast series “Friends Keep Secrets” with producer Benny Blanco, rapper Lil Dicky and his wife Kristin Batalucco. He said that he and his wife Melissa Biden went to South Africa in 2025 “because we couldn’t go back to our house” in Malibu as the Palisades fire burned through Los Angeles.

“And we were there for a day, and Laura Loomer put out on her X a picture of me and my son and Melissa in Cape Town and said, ‘This is ridiculous, this criminal still has Secret Service and they’re on vacation and we’re paying for it,’ and the next day, the president canceled the Secret Service, which is fine,” Biden said.

Biden said his parents will have Secret Service protection “forever.” Blanco asked Biden if he was the first person to have his Secret Service protection canceled.

“I think so,” Biden replied.

I have confirmed that while in Cape Town, South Africa, where he has been vacationing with a US Secret Service detail, @HunterBiden has been staying in a beach front villa with his wife Melissa Cohen that is owned by a woman who is friends with Melissa by the name of Janine Lazard.

Janine Lazard @lazards is a well known South African interior designer who used to be married to famous South African cricket player Terence Lazard @TerenceLazard, until they divorced and remarried.

I have confirmed through a background check that Terence Lazard left the villa to his wife in their divorce, and she is now using the villa to host Hunter Biden as he dodges the courts in the USA while claiming he’s broke. I also confirmed, via a review of Terence Lazard’s social media, that he is a Trump supporter.

How does @TerenceLazard, who supports @realDonaldTrump, feel about his apartment (which he gave away to his ex wife Janine after the divorce), being used by Hunter Biden and his wife? Hunter Biden and his wife have trashed a nice place in the past. (Just ask @shaunmmaguire)

I reached out to Terence for comment, but I never heard back from him.

As an interior designer for the rich and famous, and formerly being married to a famous athlete, Janine Lazard has many famous celebrity friends. She spends a lot of time in South Africa, the UK, and Malibu, California, where Hunter Biden’s house just burned down.

Janine Lazard and British singer and TV star Cheryl Cole @CherylOfficial (now known simply as Cheryl), known for her appearance on “The X Factor”, are connected through a close personal friendship. Lazard provided “emotional support” and a retreat for Cheryl in Cape Town, South Africa, which Cheryl has described as her “happy place” away from the public eye when she went through a divorce.

It was through this friendship that Cheryl met her second husband, Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, in Cape Town around 2013. Reports suggest that Lazard played a role in introducing Cheryl to Fernandez-Versini, whom she married in 2014 after a relatively short courtship. Although Cheryl and Fernandez-Versini divorced in 2016, her friendship with Lazard remained strong.

Lazard has been spotted in photographs with Hunter Biden and Melissa Cohen, captured by @LoomerUnleashed investigators on the ground in South Africa.

AOL provided some additional details:

“I can also confirm that Hunter Biden has Secret Service detail with him right now on the ground in South Africa,” Loomer wrote in a comment to her post.

The following week, President Trump said the Secret Service detail for Biden and his sister Ashley Biden was pulled.

Trump previously revoked the protective details for former Defense Secretary Mark Esper, former national security adviser John Bolton, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Dr. Anthony Fauci and former envoy to Iran Brian Hook.
