A viral video has been circulating online showing two Frontier Airlines gate agents’ confrontation with a man who was trying to check-in for his flight.
The footage shows the two women, who were pointing their own phones at the customer recording them, taunting the man and laughing.
One repeatedly jeered at him, “And you thought you were gonna get on your flight?”
You have to watch the wild moment for yourself:

For some context as to what exactly was going on in the video, the passenger had showed up for his flight when he was informed about a $25 fee for missing the airline’s 60-minute check-in window.
He had arrived 50 minutes prior to the flight after a week-long business trip away from his wife and kids, so he was understandably unhappy.
That’s when the gate agents started rudely implying it was his fault, leading to the infuriating clash.
The anonymous man spoke to The New York Post about the moments that led up to the tense moment:
The caught-on-camera saga erupted when the male passenger — a 45-year-old married father-of-three — was trying to check-in for his Frontier flight from Raleigh to Boston last Friday after a week-long business trip.
The passenger, who didn’t want to be identified, told The Post he’d arrived at the airport with roughly 50 minutes to spare but wasn’t able to check-in on the electronic kiosk because, unbeknownst to him, he had missed the airline’s 60-minute pre-departure window.
When he went to speak to a Frontier employee, he was told he needed to cough up a $25 fee to check-in at the desk per the airline’s policy.
That’s when he claims things turned sour.
“They all kind of started chiming in, ‘Well, you should have checked the website’. Like not in a professional or polite way. They were like, ‘it was your fault for not checking the website. Sorry, it’s on you’,” he said of the moments before he decided to start filming.
ADVERTISEMENTAfter a 20-minute back-and-forth, the passenger said he finally relented and agreed to pay the fee. As he reached for his wallet, he copped to muttering: “I’m never flying this sh—y airline again.”
“When I said that, the lady who I was talking to took a step back and gasped, and was like, ‘How dare you curse at me? I’m not checking you in. I don’t have to check you in.’ And my reaction was, ‘You will check me in.’ I think those were the words that I used,” he said.
“And when I said that, she completely just went – I don’t know if ‘ballistic’ is the word, but essentially she shut off completely and absolutely refused to check me in.”
The dispute was only settled when the unnamed passenger threatened to call police.
He eventually had to buy a JetBlue ticket for $500, but Frontier reimbursed him after they learned about this incident.
But, get this: apparently, officers told him that confrontations like this happen often at the airline…
Daily Mail said:
The passenger eventually even threatened to call police and the employees brought officers over to the check-in gate.
ADVERTISEMENT‘I had a very, very professional conversation with two officers who were there and were completely empathetic. They 100 percent seemed to agree with where I was coming from,’ he continued.
‘I asked them, off the record, essentially, am I being ridiculous here? And they both with serious expressions, sympathetic expressions, shook their heads, “No, we see these sorts of disagreements with this airline frequently, and this is probably not gong to be the last one.”‘
Absolutely maddening.
Even if the customer was in the wrong, this is so unprofessional and the completely wrong way to treat him.
Thankfully, the gate agents in the video have since been fired from Frontier Airlines.
But still, Frontier Airlines should have never hired these two in the first place. They need to do better.
They all act the same way.
That’s what happens with DEI.

Folks on social media are sharing their own stories of terrible experiences with Frontier:
my flight this weekend was a frontier flight
they messed up me and my gf’s names on the boarding pass requiring the TSA to put us through extra scrutiny
flight delayed 4 hours
they wouldn’t let a passenger check in even though her flight was in two hours and it was domestic… pic.twitter.com/sTvwMqRIge

Frontier made me pay a $100 bag fee even though my bag fit in the sizing bin.
I took a picture to prove it.
But it was either give them $100 or miss my flight.
Think @FlyFrontier will reimburse me for their mistake? pic.twitter.com/mx2XQMFhYS

Collin Rugg and the NY Post later reported that both women have been FIRED:
They have since responded to the New York Post.
"We are aware of what occurred and have been directly in touch with the customer."
"The individuals in question, who work for a third party contractor, are no longer associated with the Frontier account."
