Vice President JD Vance has been among the Republican Party’s most consistent voices in favor of cutting off the flow of blank U.S. taxpayer-funded checks to Ukraine.
JD Vance has had enough:

As a result of his stance and position in the Trump administration, Vance has been targeted by pro-Ukraine demonstrators on multiple occasions.
One recent incident, however, sparked significant ire from the vice president due in large part to the impact it had on his toddler, who was with him at the time.
According to Breitbart:
“Today while walking my 3 year old daughter a group of ‘Slava Ukraini’ protesters followed us around and shouted as my daughter grew increasingly anxious and scared,” Vance wrote. “I decided to speak with the protesters in the hopes that I could trade a few minutes of conversation for them leaving my toddler alone.”
Vance added that while it was a “mostly respectful conversation,” if protesters are “chasing a 3-year-old as part of a political protest” they are a “s**t person.”
This is not the first time the Vance family has been faced with pro-Ukraine protesters in the aftermath of a meeting in the Oval Office with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, President Donald Trump, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
At the beginning of March, people in Vermont protested the Vance family’s visit to Sugarbush Resort, and were seen holding signs that read “Vance is a traitor. Go ski in Russia,” and “JD Vance is Nazi scum.”
As the Russia-Ukraine war drags on, it’s becoming increasingly clear that Vance’s position is now shared by a much larger portion of the American population:
CNN’s latest poll: Americans are DONE funding Ukraine’s war.
📉 Support for sending aid to Ukraine has PLUMMETED from 72% to 48%
💸 Americans now believe the U.S. is helping TOO MUCH – from 7% to 41%
Even CNN can’t ignore the shift.

A significant 79% of Americans believe we should not provide any financial aid to Ukraine.
I desire peace and an end to the loss of lives.
Zelenskyy is accused of using funds for ongoing conflicts.
I refuse to contribute any money to Ukraine.

Fox News also covered the circumstances surrounding Vance’s recent encounter:
While the vice president didn’t specify what he talked to the protesters about, the Trump administration has cut off funding in the last week for Ukraine and stopped intelligence sharing with the country after a tense Oval Office exchange between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President Donald Trump and Vance.
ADVERTISEMENTFox News Digital has reached out to the vice president’s office for comment.
Tensions rose during the Oval Office meeting Feb. 28 over a potential peace deal between Russia and Ukraine after Zelenskyy said Russian President Vladimir Putin couldn’t be trusted and had breached other agreements.
Trump and Vance then accused Zelenskyy of not being grateful for the support the U.S. has provided over the years and said the Ukrainian leader was in a “bad position” at the negotiating table.
Here’s some additional coverage of the Trump administration’s efforts to end the war in Ukraine:
