Zelensky completely blew it at the White House today, with his ungrateful, disrespectful attitude towards President Trump and Vice President JD Vance.
President Trump knew it.
Reporters knew it.
The American people knew it.
And, so did Ukrainian ambassador Oksana Markarova.
Markarova was seated in the crowd, and as she watched Zelensky completely self-destruct, she looked flat-out embarrassed of her president.
The Ukrainian ambassador was spotted doing a literal face palm as Zelensky continued to dig himself into a hole.

The Friday meeting between Trump, Vance and Zelensky was expected to focus on continued U.S. military aid to Ukraine and long-term security agreements. However, it quickly escalated into a shouting match when Zelensky pushed back against Trump’s stance on negotiating a ceasefire with Russia.
After the fallout, Zelensky left the White House without signing a critical minerals deal with the United States, which Trump had demanded and suggested was a condition for future support for Ukraine.

Markarova’s gesture reflected the deep frustration with how U.S.-Ukraine relations have unfolded in recent weeks. Trump has falsely blamed Ukraine for starting the Russia-Ukraine war and referred to Zelensky as a “dictator.”
What was meant to be a diplomatic discussion about Ukraine’s future quickly unraveled as Trump and Vance criticized Zelensky, accusing him of using U.S. support as a “bargaining chip” in negotiations with Russia.
