Trump WH Trolls Filmmaker Claim Deported Illegals Could’ve ‘Cured Cancer’ & Saved Earth from Asteroid

Michael Moore isn’t one to deal strictly in what you might call reality.  He likes to push the LIMITS of conceptual reality… and PRETEND that it’s realistic.

That’s the art of making the ABSURD seem RATIONAL; a core progressive skillset that no lefty should ever leave home without.

And trust me — they don’t.

But Michael Moore may have outdone himself this time.

Yesterday, the filmmaker penned a long blog titled “Our Muslim Boy Wonder“.  (It shouldn’t surprise us that he chose a Muslim example to make his point — I think that’s a prerequisite he uses as a baseline.)

Among other ridiculous statements in his piece, Moore asserts that the illegals (he likes to call them “migrants” of course) that President Trump has deported could have done any number of wonderful things for America and the greater mankind.

One of those illegals could have created the cure for cancer!

And another could have been the person to save us from an impending asteroid impact!

Obviously, that’s not the sort of things most of the people sneaking into the country illegally are likely to do.

But that didn’t stop Michael Moore from making his point based on an assumption.  (The assumption I’m referring to is that he ASSUMES we’re all too dumb to realize how full of it he is.)

And in case I’m being too cryptic, I completely agree with Gunther Eagleman’s take…

If it wasn’t fully evident before, it certainly is now — Michael Moore is just plain old DUMB.

Moore used Steve Jobs’ origins as the basis for his argument, being that he was the son of a Syrian migrant.  (I use the word “migrant”, because he WAS.  He didn’t sneak into the country illegally.)

Though, of course, that’s the part Moore likes to leave out.  (You know… the truth?)

Moore charged that ICE agents are banging down doors across the country removing the future generation of do-gooders, according to a Fox News report:

Progressive filmmaker and activist Michael Moore on Tuesday wrote a lengthy blog post warning that by deporting illegal immigrants, America may be missing out on the next equivalent of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs or one that will save the world from a killer asteroid.

Moore’s piece, “Our Muslim Boy Wonder,” used Jobs’ origins as the son of a Syrian migrant to critique the Trump administration’s deportation efforts.

“Who’s really being removed by ICE tonight?” Moore asked. “The child who would’ve discovered the cure for cancer in 2046? The 9th grade nerd who would’ve stopped that asteroid (sic) that’s gonna hit us in 2032? Do we care?”

The filmmaker offered multiple scenarios of migrants being deported who may have otherwise made a profound impact on American communities or the world at large.

“Tonight, ICE agents all across America are banging down doors to remove the dangerous ‘illegals.’ But one of them might’ve been the guy who tomorrow was going to help rebuild a children’s playground across town — but he is now in shackles on a military cargo plane on its way to Guatemala.”

Moore also suggested that a young girl being deported “would’ve one day grown up to be the scientist who discovered the cure for cancer, snatched from her mother’s arms, taking her to a military base in Oklahoma, now forever ‘lost in the system’ and never to be seen by her mother again.”

He lamented, “When I go to bed tonight, as I lay my head down to fall asleep, I will try not to think about the potential millions suffering from cancer some 30 years from now who might’ve lived had this little girl not been seen as a threat to our national security.”

It took about as long as you would have expected for social media to deliver a collective “Huh???” in response to Moore’s insane logic.

And I know, I know — not everybody coming into the country illegally is a full body tatted up gang member ready to do all the bad stuff folks like that tend to do.

Don’t attack me when I say this… but I KNOW that a lot of them truly do just want to live a normal, peaceful, productive life.

The problem is:

  1. The vast majority, even the family oriented “good” illegals, are straining the “free services” division of the government — including most of those who actually hold down jobs.
  2. That’s beside the point.  There is a legal way to come here, and everything else is illegal.  And if we aren’t a nation of the rule of law… we AREN’T A NATION anymore.

Paging Michael Moore — you can’t look the other way and allow millions of illegal acts on the premise that a few of them might have a kid that ends up saving the world.

Even his best example didn’t fit that model.  Steve Jobs biological dad came here legally!

But, of course, that’s a very logical take on something that is steeped in several feet of emotional relativism.

So Michael Moore will likely maintain his line of thinking, and assume the cancer and asteroid are on the horizon… totally unstoppable, thanks to Trump.

Even before the White House officially issued their statement today, using facts rather than wanna-be realism to set the record straight…

President Trump’s Border Czar addressed Moore’s ridiculous assertions on a segment of Fox News early this morning.

I like that Tom Homan brought out the fact guns with those numbers.

Because even though the majority of illegals may just want to live a peaceful life in the U.S. and are looking for a quick entrance to make it happen… (still illegal)…

“Many” of those coming across are, in fact, dangerous.  And “many” isn’t none.  It’s actually a lot.

I think Moore is willfully ignorant of that fact that the cancer or asteroid is never going to get to him… because the MS-13, Venezuelan gang member, or Mideast terrorist who came in illegally is going to get to him first!

Thankfully, the White House dropped a full statement on the head of Moore’s idiotic assertions.

And the White House statement correctly labeled the illegal immigrants as CRIMINALS… not scholars, according to a Fox News Report from today:

The White House fired back at “disgraced” progressive filmmaker and activist Michael Moore’s criticism of the Trump administration’s deportations, saying his comments are “a strong contender for dumbest statement of the year.”

In response, the White House released a statement on Wednesday saying that illegal immigrant killers and rapists “aren’t scholars — they’re criminals.”

“In a strong contender for dumbest statement of the year, disgraced ‘filmmaker’ Michael Moore lamented illegal immigrant criminals being apprehended because they might’ve ‘discovered the cure for cancer’ or ‘stopped that astroid [sic],’” the White House statement said. “The only thing more foolish than that statement are the politicians who oppose the deportations.”

The statement included a listing of some of the worst criminal illegal immigrants arrested thus far. The list included nine child sex predators and rapists as well as kidnappers, murderers and gang members.

“Michael Moore is free to visit the quantum computing and particle physics labs that MS-13, TDA [Tren de Aragua], and the cartels are now going to have to set up back home in El Salvador, Venezuela, and Mexico,” quipped White House deputy press secretary Kush Desai.

In the meantime, Desai said, “the Trump administration will remain focused on putting our own citizens first by mass deporting illegal migrant rapists, murderers, and other criminals out of American communities.”

The White House response, found on the official White House website, is a concise list of actual examples of who is actually being deported.

Here’s the full text of the official response:

In a strong contender for dumbest statement of the year, disgraced “filmmaker” Michael Moore lamented illegal immigrant criminals being apprehended because they might’ve “discovered the cure for cancer” or “stopped that asteroid.” The only thing more foolish than that statement are the politicians who oppose the deportations.

These are the types of cold-blooded criminals he’s talking about:

  • A Portuguese national convicted of sexual exploitation of a minor—child pornography, apprehended in Philadelphia.
  • A Guatemalan national charged with armed home invasion, kidnapping, intimidation, and assault with a dangerous weapon, apprehended in Rhode Island.
  • A Haitian national charged with three murders, apprehended in North Carolina.
  • A Salvadoran national and MS-13 gang member convicted of aggravated assault with bodily injury and DWI, apprehended in Houston.
  • A Guatemalan national charged with multiple counts of child rape, apprehended in Massachusetts.
  • A Brazilian national and confirmed gang member convicted of assault and battery, apprehended in Boston.
  • A Honduran national convicted of criminal sexual conduct with a minor, apprehended in Minnesota.
  • A Salvadoran national convicted of sodomy/anal intercourse with a child less than 13 years of age, apprehended in Washington.
  • An Ecuadorian national convicted of rape, arrested in Buffalo.
  • A Guatemalan national charged with multiple counts of child rape, apprehended in Massachusetts.
  • A Dominican Republican national convicted of sexual conduct against a child, apprehended in Buffalo.
  • A Mexican national convicted of sexual exploitation of a child, apprehended in San Francisco.
  • A Turkish national who is a known or suspected terrorist, apprehended in New York City.
  • A Mexican national convicted of drug trafficking, apprehended in Texas.

As a husband and father, every one of those real life examples (not the could be / would be versions Moore alludes to) is one less statistical chance that I have to put bullets into another human in the protection of my family.

While I’m glad that the White House chose to start its response off by calling Michael Moore’s assertions one of the “dumbest statements” of the year…

I am equally glad that they ended it with a list — not even close to exhaustive — of the real life criminals that you and I no longer have to worry about bumping into with our families while grocery shopping, or playing at the park, or coming through our door at night.

In the face of Michael Moore’s lunacy, I thank God for a government that is fixated on facts for a change — rather than meaningless political platitudes that get people killed in the hopes of gaining votes from the uninformed.
