Illegal Immigrants Can No Longer Fly Without Identification — Unless Self-Deporting

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has just shut down the Biden-era CBP One app, which was created to allow illegal aliens to fly without identification.

The app was used to help millions of illegal immigrants get into the U.S. during the Biden regime.

Going forward, illegal immigrants will not be permitted to board any domestic flights, unless they are self-deporting back to their country or transferring between detention facilities.

The TSA announced the cancellation of the app on X:

If TSA cannot verify the identity of an illegal alien at a checkpoint without ID, the individual will not be permitted to enter the sterile area or board an aircraft. 2/2

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is ending the use of the controversial CBP One app to allow migrants to board domestic flights – unless it is being used for their self-deportation.

“Secretary Noem is reversing the horrendous Biden-Era policy that allowed aliens in our country illegally to jet around our country and do so without identification,” a DHS spokesperson told Fox News Digital.

“Under President Trump, TSA and DHS will no longer tolerate this. Aliens in our country illegally can no longer fly unless it is out of our country to self-deport,” they said.

The Biden administration had expanded the use of the CBP One app to allow migrants to enter the U.S. at ports of entry or via a separate parole process. That process involved them uploading information including a photograph. The Biden administration also allowed for the app to be used by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to verify a migrant without sufficient ID by comparing a photograph of a migrant in DHS records, and also use biometric matching. Those verified would also receive additional physical screening.

The Trump administration is ending a “horrendous” program that allowed illegal migrants to fly without identification — in what has been hailed as a “critical step” in putting Americans first.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced Monday it would no longer allow migrants to use the CBP One app to board domestic flights without formal identification.

The free app, which was launched near the end of President Trump’s first term as a single portal to access a variety of Customs and Border Patrol services, was controversially expanded under former President Joe Biden to allow migrants to easily schedule asylum appointments at a port of entry along the border.

The Trump administration removed the contentious scheduling functionality on day one of his second term but the app was still being used as alternate identification.

“TSA has discontinued the use of the CBP One app,” the agency announced late Monday.

“Illegal aliens who previously had their identity established using CBP One will only be permitted into the checkpoint if TSA can determine the purpose of travel is for deportation or movement between detention facilities,” it added.

I have to ask: why was this app ever allowed to exist in the first place?

Furthermore, aren’t unidentified individuals the very thing the TSA is supposed to on the lookout for?

If anyone with this app was allowed to pass through, no questions asked about their identity, then isn’t that a huge security risk?

It’s good to have some sanity back in our government, shutting down all the Biden-era craziness.
