‘It’s Over’: Actress Justine Bateman Says Democratic Party Belongs In The ‘Political Graveyard’

Although the Democratic Party might still have a stranglehold on much of Hollywood, the MAGA message combined with the left’s onslaught of absurdity has led a growing number of celebrities to defy the status quo.

Most recently, “Family Ties” actress Justine Bateman weighed in on the current state of the Democratic Party with a dismal assessment.

According to Breitbart:

Bateman’s salvo is the latest in what has been a series of social media posts aimed at critiquing and ridiculing leftist meltdowns following Trump’s resounding victory in the presidential race.

As Breitbart News reported, the actress trolled supporters of Kamala Harris who have posted meltdown videos to TikTok and other social media apps, penning mock scene analyses of their cinematic technique.  “Shoot in a location that is not the interior of a car,” Bateman deadpanned on X.

Her posts have spurred speculation that the actress could be a secret supporter of President-elect Donald Trump, or at least maybe Trump-curious. Some commenters have joked that her on-screen Family Ties brother Alex P. Keaton — a diehard conservative — appears to have finally changed Mallory.

She received significant support in the responses to her post:

While Bateman apparently hasn’t officially come out as a Trump supporter, but she’s far from the only star whose response to the 2024 election cycle was disillusionment with the modern Democratic Party.

Some actors, including “Frasier” star Kelsey Grammer, went further by explicitly supporting the 45th (and now 47th) president.

According to Fox News:

During an interview with the New York Times in September, Kelsey Grammer, a proud Republican, opened up about his political views.

“For me to be anything else would be a problem,” Grammer said of his political party. “I don’t go along with a lot of what is preached in Hollywood.

“I go along with what is preached in Christianity. I go along with ‘do unto others as you would have others do unto you.’ And I believe in all people. I believe in their desires and their lives and their worth. I want to make shows about that. I don’t want to hate anybody.”

During a segment on BBC Radio 4’s “Today” program in 2023, Grammer confirmed his support for Trump.

Host Justin Webb asked Grammer, “You mentioned Roseanne early on, who had a great comeback but also was a Trump supporter. You were, at least you were, a Trump supporter. I’m fascinated to know if you still are?”

“I am,” Grammer said. “And I’ll let that be the end of it.”

In the end, pro-Trump comedian Rob Schneider said celebrity endorsements didn’t seem to move the needle in last week’s election:
