President Trump, in his latest interview on Fox News, shared his son Barron Trump was playing tennis when he learned his father was shot during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July.
Trump shared in an interview with Laura Ingraham, “Barron was playing tennis with his friends, and somebody walked over and — ran over — and said, ‘Your father’s been shot. He’s been shot.”
The 45th President added, “And he came in, ‘Mom, Mom, Mom, what happened?’ So, and then they saw me get up, and then they saw the fist pump.”

Former President Trump said his youngest son, Barron, was playing tennis when he learned in July that his father had been shot at a rally in Butler, Pa.
Trump recounted the experience in a sit-down interview with Fox News’s “The Ingraham Angle” over the weekend, when he returned to the site of the assassination attempt this summer. The interview will air in full Monday evening; a preview was released earlier in the day.

Trump returned to Butler, Pa., over the weekend for the first time since the assassination attempt nearly three months ago. On July 13, Trump was rushed off stage by Secret Service agents after a gunman opened fire, bloodying the former president’s ear. Rally attendee Corey Comperatore was killed in the shooting, two others were injured, and the gunman was also shot and killed by Secret Service countersnipers.Trump was joined at his return rally Saturday by several high-profile guests, including vice presidential candidate Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), Republican National Committee co-Chair Lara Trump and tech billionaire Elon Musk. Members of Comperatore’s family, including his widow, Helen, were also present at the rally.

Barron Trump learned about the assassination attempt on his father while playing tennis with his friends, former president Donald Trump said in a new interview.
Trump recalled his son’s reaction over the weekend while appearing on The Ingraham Angle on Fox News. The interview was due to air on Monday evening but previews were released hours prior.
“Barron was playing tennis with his friends, and somebody walked over and — ran over — and said, ‘Your father’s been shot. He’s been shot,’” Trump told the TV show. “Barron — and Barron really likes his father a lot. And he came in ‘Mom, Mom, Mom, what happened?’ So, and then they saw me get up, and then they saw the fist pump,” Trump said.
On July 13, a 20-year-old man shot Trump in the ear in an assassination attempt during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Countersnipers shot the man dead. Two people were injured and one man, identified as former volunteer fire chief Corey Comperatore, died.
