BREAKING: Federal Court Delivers Blow to Hunter Biden

This just in: A federal appeals court has rejected Hunter Biden’s request to throw out his felony gun case in Delaware.

Hunter Biden is facing three felony charges related to a 2018 purchase of a revolver, in which Hunter allegedly lied about his drug addiction on a gun form required to buy the firearm.

It turns out “Because my Daddy is president” is not a sufficient excuse to avoid facing the law…

Hunter is scheduled to head to trial on June 3.

Check out the breaking news:

Fox News reported:

The United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit refused to throw out Hunter Biden’s indictment on federal gun charges in a court document released Thursday.

The president’s son is set to stand trial next month in Delaware.

“The defendant in this criminal case appealed three pretrial orders entered on April 12, 2024, denying his motions to dismiss the indictment,” the court document released Thursday states. “This appeal is DISMISSED because the defendant has not shown the District Court’s orders are appealable before final judgment.”

Biden’s lawyers filed the motion in federal court earlier this year, arguing that a diversion agreement previously agreed to by the Department of Justice, and Biden’s legal team should remain in effect.

Biden was indicted last year for purchasing a revolver in 2018 while actively using narcotics. The president’s son faces three felony charges related to the incident. He has pleaded not guilty to all counts.

ABC News added:

The Third Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday dismissed an effort by the president’s son to have his felony gun case in Delaware thrown out, rejecting his challenge to the charges on procedural grounds.

The three-judge panel said in its short ruling — just four pages total — that it did not consider the merits of Biden’s challenge at this stage, instead saying it was the improper time for them to take up such an appeal.

The ruling paves the way for Biden to stand trial in the case, which is set to begin on June 3, according to an order issued Thursday by Maryellen Norieka, the district judge overseeing his case.

Biden will next be scheduled to appear in court on May 24 for a pretrial conference.
